Loved every minute of our stay in an Animal Lovers Paradise
Everything was Perfect during our stay at The Old Hen Shed. Beautiful location with the most Beautiful animals to go visit which was such a Huge bonus for us as animal lovers. My two young Grandchildren thought they were in Paradise and didn’t want to leave. Our lodge was spotless and had everything we needed. It was a lovely touch that our Hosts who were absolutely lovely and welcoming left a lovely welcome pack with basic provisions and a lovely bottle of Prosecco which was so very much appreciated.

Amazing from start to finish
I got married over the weekend and we used The Old Hen shed as our base, the hosts were so amazing and very accommodating, they were happy to let us use the cottage to get ready in the morning of the wedding with lots of people coming and going and even got us a bottle of prosecco to congratulate us! And also saved my veil after I dropped it getting out of the taxi! Can't recommend them highly enough.

We had a lovely stay, would certainly go again
The location was on a working small holding which we loved , host really friendly, beds were comfy, every thing was clean , if we needed anything our hosts were easy to contact and help.

Enjoyable stay
Fantastic views, comfortable., exceptionally warm. The grandkids loved the animals. Some essentials provided, always good to find the things you forget: salt, pepper, foil, cling film. Nice to have tea, coffee, milk and biscuits.
Looked shabby on arrival because of the floor, not enough wine glasses. Not enough store cupboard space if you had a longer stay. Driveway needed some potholes filling.
