Awesome staff, clean, comfortable.

The guesthouse was beautiful, everything looked great, very clean, the bed was awesome, the owner was very kind. It was very cold during the night and they kindly gave us more blankets, they were always very attentive that we were comfortable :)

Perfect stay in Përmet

The guesthouse was absolutely perfect. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The room was warm and cozy, ideal even in winter, and the bed was very comfortable. The hosts were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The location is great — quiet, relaxing, and close to the center of Përmet. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would definitely recommend this place and would gladly stay here again.

Such a gem in Përmet — chill vibes and super clean!

I stayed at this lovely guest house in Përmet for one night and absolutely loved everything about it! The place was spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The location is perfect — quiet but close to everything. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Përmet!

Very affordable, unpleasant laundry experience

The room itself, the house and the outdoor area was really nicely decorated and cozy. It was nice having a balcony. Also the price was really fair.

The bathroom was smelly (think sewage smell) and the water did not drain properly when showering. The kettle was disgustingly calcified so we did not use it. Word of warning: don't plan to do your laundry here! We checked with the owner beforehand if we could do our laundry there and he confirmed they offer a laundry service. We checked in again with him as soon as we arrived and he told us to give the laundry to the housekeeper the next morning. The morning after that, we had to leave and every single piece of laundry was still wet. We had to pack the wet laundry and carry it around all day in our car so naturally it became smelly and we had to find a laundry service again for all of our clothes. We understand Albania is not a super developed country and also don't expect every guesthouse to offer laundry service. However, as we asked beforehand, we relied on what the owner told us. This might seem minor, but as a traveler you need to rely on getting your laundry back clean and dry. This caused issues for us as we then urgently needed to find another way to do your laundry immediately after. Transparency: we ended up not paying for the laundry. The housekeeper was really sweet though and tried her best with our laundry!

Shtëpia Ime was an excellent choice for our stay.

Përmet is an amazing place to visit, and Shtëpia Ime was an excellent choice for our stay. Dino, the owner, gave us plenty of local information, helped arrange drives for our visits, and made sure we could see every spot we wanted. He was also very flexible with check-in and check-out, which made our stay even easier. The hostel was very comfortable, clean, and perfectly located—quiet yet central. Highly recommended!

The place had a really good location right outside the city centre of Permet and had a beautiful garden with a lot of bean bags for guests to chillax. The room was large, clean and had a nice and large balcony. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower. The staff were very helpful and quick to respond. The room had AC, fridge, electric kettle and coffee which was highly appreciated!

The owner wasn't at the location, however, he was very responsive and answered quickly when we had questions and the staff were helpful even though they couldn't speak English. We couldn't find any staff at our check in, so we had to ask one of the guests where to park and how to reach the owner. Later, we had to help other guests with similar issues. No options for credit card payment. The breakfast was 5€ which we found too expensive for two small slices of bread, cheese, one hard boiled egg and orange juice. It didn't include any hot food or hot drinks, such as coffee or tea.

Gem in Permet

The welcome from the housekeeper was lovely, so friendly and warm. Everything felt brand new in the room and was exactly like the picture. Great location and nice and quiet. The only place we stayed in Albania to include a kettle and coffee in the room - very nice touch!

Beautiful stay

Great location, a short walk into town. They provide rafting booking. Great communication via WhatsApp and the lady that greets you so lovely!!! She makes you feel like a member of the family, with great big hugs, even if you are sweaty from your journey! Very happy to help. The garden is so nice for relaxing and the room is so nice, with books and decor. We felt immediately at home. Nothing flashy, just nice and well done. You're next to a few falling down buildings but for us, this doesn't take away anything from our wonderful stay.

The property is a beautiful garden designed for relaxing. So convenient and close to the Përmet bus stop, but also with an “on the edge of town” feel. The room was nicely decorated and modern, with an awesome balcony.

LOVELY. Great for multi nights stay!

Urania the housekeeper and Dino the manager were both absolutely amazing people. Went out of their way to be accommodating and helpful. The house is gorgeous, surrounded by beautiful gardens and great views. We had rooms on the upper floor and they were both wonderful and had balconies. Coffee and kettle in room, plus fridge was great. Rooms were clean and cozy. We were able to park inside the closed gate. Location was just a couple blocks outside the center, which made it so easy to access everything, yet nice and quiet. The description of this place online didn't do it justice! We loved it and would absolutely come back. Stayed three nights and wish we could have stayed longer!

Warm welcome. Quiet surroundings and accommodation. Comfortable bed.

Our room was a bit small. During the first night, a stray dog came in front of the house and barked, so don't forget to close the front gate.

Good guesthouse, horrible experience with a bat

Host was helpful, flexible, quick to respond and offered a great suggestion for rafting nearby. Facilities were decent, very close to town but in a peaceful, parking spot, guest house was cute.

A bat flew down the chimney in the middle of the night, leading to the most harrowing two hours we've ever spent trying to shew it out of the room without it flying into either mine or my partner's head. Felt like something out of a horror film and all we could hear was it flapping about above us which is not what you want at 4/5/6 in the morning (or any time really). Not really the owner's fault at all, sheer bad luck, but it was terrifying and maybe a grid or something could be put up the chimney to stop things from coming down it?

The decor was incredible and the house had a nice garden. The area was very quite.

I would prefer the room to have more equipment like a tv and a small table so that someone can eat at. The drain at the bathroom wasn't working quite well and the water kept spilling out of the shower area.

A very warm hospitality from the owners as soon as you enter this house. Upon entering, I saw a fantastic garden with seating areas where you could relax and enjoy the views it offers. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was simple and beautiful with everything you need. I am certain that I will return to visit Permet, and I will definitely not change guesthouse Shtepia Ime . I recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable and relaxing stay because the atmosphere of this house provides that energy.
