Stylish City 1 Bed Apt - Broad St

Apartment was very clean and well presented, comfortable and good location for our weekend in Birmingham.

The check in process was terrible. I didn't get any information in advance, eventually got a form to fill in whilst stood outside with a video to get the key from a garage. Waited and went to the garage who told me i didn't have the right code to be able to take the keys. We waited over an hour for this and were eventually met by someone outside the garage who took me to the apartment, which was lovely in fairness, same issue on check out though. Garage would not take the key as we didn't have a fob on it (non was given to us) and so had to wait again to be able to hand the key back over. Such a shame

The apartment we eventually stayed at was fine but it was not the place we booked nor was it in the location we were told and advised of in writing so beware if u book with whoever runs this place.

As previously mentioned the flat was fine But … 1. it was not where we booked 2. There’s is no 24/7 reception just a shop a few miles away that acts as a key holder. 3. The free parking they refer to is a myth. There’s nothing apart from on road chargeable parking or car parks. 4. When we arrived at the confirmed address in Ball St there was nothing that looked like accommodation so we called a mobile to hear a very weary man’s voice say ‘oh text me your details and I will let ‘them’ know. 5. We then got a text for a different address in William St and a pick up point for the key which as I stated earlier was a further distance away. 6. Never at any point was there notice of change of venue because if they had told me in advance I would have cancelled because the address I originally selected was close to our venue for the evening whereas the new address meant we needed to use our car instead of walking. 7. The original checkout time we had in writing was 12 noon but for this new address we had a text saying checkout was 10am. The whole we process was a farce and booking.com should make sure this renter updates there information.
