We enjoyed our stay in Montana at Ray's cabin. I was a little nervous to reserve this property without a lot of reviews to go on. The cabin was very clean and everything worked well, including the air conditioner in the living room that was needed during our warm stay (temps in the 90s). Ray was extremely responsive and got back to me quickly whenever I had a question, before or during the trip. It does take a good 15 minutes on a mostly gravel road to get to and from the main road, which I'm not sure I would do again. However, if you don't mind the drive, the cabin rewards you with stunning views and a very remote feel. The neighbor was installing a well (or maybe improving it) which led to some additional traffic and noise for us, but otherwise, it would have been almost completely quiet, something you don't get here in California. I also want to note that the bed in the master bedroom is extremely firm, and I know some folks would like that, but some would not. All in all, if you are looking for a remote stay in Montana in a nice cabin, this is it!

We were delighted about the cabin. It was well maintained and fully stocked with everything you could need. The view out of every window and the deck is amazing. We were there for my 91 year old Mother's Cousin Reunion and it was a wonderful place to come back to each night and relax. I would recommend it to anyone who would like a quiet and relaxing stay.

Stayed at this cabin with my wife and 2 older children. It was perfect for us. Our favourite parts were sitting having a morning coffee listening to the birds on the deck, and having a fire watching the sun go down. The cabin was clean and neat and had everything we needed. It’s a little drive out of Eureka but well worth it. The showers were nice and hot with lots of pressure, which is a must for a few of my crew:)
All in all a great place and would recommend.

Our stay at Colter Ridge was fantastic! We came to Eureka to see family and attend the Eureka Rodeo and this cozy cabin was the perfect place for my family to rest and recharge. Ray was quick to respond to any questions I had and gave us very detailed instructions including a drawn map on how to locate the cabin (we have TMobile and had service the entire way and we’re able to use our GPS but his map was a spot on drawing to lead us there)
The views from the cabin are simply breathtaking, sunrises and sunsets overlooking the Koocanusa were just heavenly.
We can’t wait to stay at this lovely cabin again on our next trip to Eureka.
