Good location & nice outdoor space but inside needs a thorough deep clean.

Good location and on a nice quiet street. 10-15 minute drive into the city centre. Good outdoor space with decking area.

Very dusty, cobwebs in rooms, smelly drains. Had to rewash dishes before using and wipe out cupboards before storing our food. Very uneven, lumpy mattresses.

Area which house was located was quiet but ran down, house was modern but could with a refresh especially skirting board

The Veranda outside in the garden was a lovely sun trap & the living room sofas very comfortable.

The mattresses were very well used & the springs you could feel which was very uncomfortable, needed more pillows. There was no tea towels or washing up liquid a little essential pack for the kitchen would have been good & there was not enough mugs or glasses for 8 people.

Great Stay!

Easy check-in process, property itself was very clean and modernised, street and neighbours were all quiet during our stay. Hosts were very helpful and quick to reply to any issues we had. Roughly a 15mins drive into town, we used Ubers as it was relatively cheap.

It could have been a lovely house but was in need of care and attention

Dirty and in state of disrepair.Toilet seat hanging off broken hinges on cupboards broken bed in one bedroom Dirt behind chest of drawers including half cigarette. Not enough cutlery for 8 people, small dinning table and only3 chairs. Tops of kitchen cabinets filthy with dirty baking trays and dozens of unopened letters. One member of our group woke first morning having been bitten. I took photos of everything and informed managing agents and they sent a cleaner while we were out.All they did was change bed sheets and hoovered some of the mess up but still left some mess.Applied for compensation but owner felt “enough was done in the time of our stay.Also accused us of putting plastic in oven and lighting it.We didn’t use oven as on first night we put on to preheat and the kitchen filled with smoke. Also had to leave £200 damage waver meant to refund within two days of leaving took me over a week to get it back!

The beds! All beds were so uncomfortable, you can feel the springs in each bed itself. Sham to read similar comments and no change as the main part of a stay is the bedrooms itself!

Most enjoyable

Lovely house with the addition of some seating on the outside decking,.

Would have like some bigger and better quality pans as cooking the same meal for six had to be divided between pans, also just enough dinner plates, so if there had been 8 of us there wouldn't have been enough, also only 3 side plates, also couldnt see the Thermostat, and some more chairs outside enough for us all to sit together

Heating was a complete hit and miss, no plug for the bath. 1 bed had no wood slats on 1 side so if there had been more than 1 person in that bed they would of gone straight through. the renovation of the house is lovely but unfortunately the area really lets it down.

Lots of bedrooms, nice and quiet in the house. The booking.com listing said no washing machine available but there was one that worked great.

I have to say, there were a lot of basic things missing: No thermostat in the house so I had to turn the heating on and off manually by messing around with the boiler, there were oven trays but no oven gloves, all of the TV remotes had flat batteries. Lots of little things that would have made the stay much nicer. The insides of cupboards were also quite dirty.

Nice, but not quite a home.

We stayed here to be close to our family living in the area. The place is nicely decorated and the team managing the property are responsive.

We only really used the bathroom and bedrooms. Unfortunately those are the areas that we found hadn’t been cleaned to our standard (which we accept as high). We cleaned the bathroom ourselves to feel comfortable. The grouting in the bathroom and areas behind furniture need to be (deep) cleaned on occasion. One of the rooms has wall damp; and this is the overall smell in the house; I see now this was mentioned in other reviews. I also think the team should consider catering to parties of six (providing sufficient bric-a-brac, teabags, working clocks and even loo roll). If these matters can be addressed our stay would have been more enjoyable. Nice, but not quite a home.

was very dirty: the carpet was coming off from the stairs causing a safety hazard for the kids: there is cutlery and cooking pots and pans only for 4 people although the property is advertised to accommodate 6. The pots and pans are extremely old and have marks in the making it impossible to cook anything healthy in them. I had to go and purchase my own pans: the staff were really not helpful and told me to sort things out myself. really don’t advise booking this place as a family until they fix things. i had to spend the good half of our stay cleaning the olace particularly the kitchen so my kids can be more comfortable and actually have good memories of Scotland as it was our first time there. also it’s nit allowing me to share photos: I have some gruesome ones to prove what I am saying. pathetic!

Not as expected

Decor was nice you can tell they made effort to do house up. The drive was nice and garden.

The house smelled very bad, we had to buy air fresheners. There was no locks on the bathroom or toilets. Also the electric went the landlord was holiday, was asked to top up £50 which they did refund straight away but was an inconvenience. The beds were quite small and again didn't smell fresh and mattress was very saggy. Last point the carpet on stairs was loose which was dangerous as I nearly tripped few times.

Een mooi huis, voor een redelijke prijs.

Een functioneel ingericht huis gericht op 4 personen. Gelukkig stond er buiten nog een tafel met stoelen zodat we met zijn allen binnen konden eten.

In het huis was maar 1 volledige badkamer met toilet (en 1 apart toilet). Eén badkamer is voor 6 personen passen en meten. Ook de keuken uitrusting was niet toegerust voor 6 mensen qua pannen. Het was handig geweest als er nog 1 extra dekbed was, zodat je de mogelijkheid had om 1 iemand op de bank te laten slapen, nu moest je met 2 mensen een redelijk smal bed delen.

Am 2. Tag würde Geschirr, Kochtöpfe, Mülleimer und ein Wasserkocher. Kommt halt den nächsten zugute

Ausstattung war nicht für die Anzahl der Personen. Wasserkocher defekt, unters Bad war nur Toilette - hier ging das Licht nicht, wurde von uns selbst behoben. Bei der Ankunft war ein riesiger Müllhaufen in der Einfahrt, wurde am Abend abgeholt und auch die über quellenden Tonnen geleert Kreischende Kinder in der Nachbarschaft Konversation nicht einfach, Mal mit Eigentümer, Mal mit einem Verwalter, keiner wusste was der andere geschrieben hat
