Great stay, great location, good accommodation.

Location was excellent, pretty cottage. Perfect for 2 people.

It was late November and the property hadn’t been well aired so smelt a bit damp.

The stairs where not user friendly my partner nearly fell I think it would be a good idea to warn people in advance that the stairs are very vertical and have a small tread once upstairs it’s lovely but with a bad knee it’s a challenge

Nice place to stay in Sancerre

Very central location in Sancerre with parking on the street nearby. Great shower, lots of hot water, very quiet accommodation. Two ways to make coffee!

We couldn't work out how to work the espresso machine so some instructions would be helpful. But we used the filter machine instead.

Nice place to stay in the centre of Sancerre

Located at the bottom of the hill within the town and an easy walk to the main square. We parked at the front door with no parking restrictions. Property had loads of character, small internally but fine for two of us.

We managed fine but the stair may be difficult for some.

Sancerre is a gorgeous hill top village.

The cleaner was still finishing off so he kindly handed over the keys to us. The shower room was well designed and roomy. The bed was comfortable and our room was nice. The kitchen was well provided although two wine glasses would have been better than one.

It was a little difficult to locate. We were not told in advance that we would have to dispose of our own rubbish or we might have brought suitable bin bags to carry it 200 meters to the tip. A little cramped, but perfectly adequate for such a short stay.

It was in Sancerre - and cheap.

Very cramped and a strong aroma of dampness, despite a dehumidifier. Access to the tiny bedroom is via a steep, wobbly ladder-staircase which requires some agility.

Stairs were too steep and slippery and my wife nearly fell down them. There was a very bad smell of mustiness downstairs and sewage from I can only assume the plug holes in the shower / sink.

Excellent stay , accommodation was great, but they were resurfacing the roads in the town and this made the stay VERY noisy, and made parking outside difficult, but we do appreciate this is no fault of the accommodation.

Nice little house. Good for staying a couple of nights. Equiped for the first night with coffee etc.

The house in two floors with a mini stairs (not very assuring), Not easy to heat. Equiped with just the minimum (1 rol toilet paper, a TV smaller than my computer screen) No comfortable place to sit. Next time we will go again to the Hotel panoramic

The property was is a great location however the inside felt as though it had not been finished. The stairs are not for the feint hearted!

The finish was poor. Especially in the bedroom. & the whole place was damp. I appreciate it’s an old property but it could have a better finish.

I enjoyed the small self contained apartment located in the town and close to everything.

Location is on the edge of the town in easy walking distance to everything and parking was available right outside. The furnishing and styling is delightful. Cooking was well catered for.

It is a very small apartment and second floor is accessed by ladder stairs. The contents are well thought out but I was disappointed there was no washing machine. The TV is very small and positioned poorly for viewing. You have to take your rubbish on leaving.

The stairs are borderline dangerous but we were used to them after 2 nights. No point in trying to get your suitcases upstairs as there is no wardrobe anyway. You won't feel comfortable trying to get upstairs for a day or two -

Beautiful small apartment in the center of Sancerre.

Lovely, small apartment in the historic old town. Well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchenette. Nice bathroom with shower on second level together with the bedroom. The bed was comfortable. Easy checking and checkout. We were fortunate to park directly in front on the apartment. Easy walk to the town center.

Not a problem for us, but the steep and narrow steps to the bedroom could be a challenge for some.

Bijou townhouse

Very cute little house but really tiny. Well equipped with a lovely bathroom and pretty kitchen. Comfortable bed and pillows.

The ladder to get up to the bedroom and bathroom. Window in bedroom did not open . Nowhere to hang clothes and boiler in the bedroom. And it was in a very run down part of town. Quite a long uphill walk to shops restaurants and bars.

A fabulous introduction to Sancerre...

A cozey little place. It had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. It was in a lovely spot and Sancerre is such a fabulous town we just didn't want to leave. Great restaurant recommended by hosts and lots of lovely bars and cafes for Petit Dejeuner.

The stairs were a bit scary but only because I had a hamstring injury which occurred after I had booked. Still managed though and it was worth it

the property is a beautiful mix of old and new. it has been restored really well and is a cosy place to base yourself for a visit to Sancerre. it’s just a couple of minute’s walk from the centre of the town and all of its restaurants, shops and places to try delicious wine. Parking was so easy; right outside the door and the hosts are incredibly attentive and excellent to communicate with.
