Moncasa Your Ionian home

We absolutely loved our stay at Moncasa – Your Ionian Home. The apartment has everything you could possibly need, and its modern Mediterranean style makes it such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The terrace is simply incredible—you’ll love slowly preparing breakfast in the lovely kitchen before enjoying it outside, or ending the day with a cold glass of Robola wine while taking in the most amazing view. The location is wonderfully peaceful, allowing you to truly switch off and leave the fast pace of everyday life behind. It was exactly the kind of place we were hoping to find in Kefalonia. The hosts were absolutely lovely. They made sure we had everything we needed, shared fantastic recommendations for exploring the island, and even treated us to fresh vegetables from their own garden, which was such a thoughtful gesture. ❤️ We only wished our holiday had been longer so we could have enjoyed this beautiful place even more. We left with wonderful memories and would happily return to Moncasa in the future.

This place is amazing, location is great the hosts were incredible and very welcoming. Cleaner came half way through and changed towels and bedding which was a lovely touch. I highly recommend this place WOW. I can’t wait to go back 😎

We couldn’t fault anything

Het uitzicht is echt adembenemend. Het lijkt wel Zwitserland aan zee. Het huis is fantastisch ontwerpen en het huis is duidelijk ingericht door een interieur architect. De jacuzzi is geweldig op de plek waar hij staat en heerlijk warm, ook als het buiten nog niet zo warm is. Het huis is super schoon en duidelijk met liefde verzorgd. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het plaatsje Lixouri op 6 minuten met de auto is leuk en vanaf daar gaat elk uur een ferry naar de hoofdstad Argostoli. (In het hoogseizoen elk half uur)

It was exactly as beautiful as the photos show. The hosts were so gracious and personable. They made us a yummy cake and left us with fresh lemons, grapefruit and oranges from their property! Thank Goodness for the hot tub as it was quite chilly in March and since so much is still closed for the winter, we looked forward to coming home and hopping into the hot tub to warm up after our day's activities.

It is a little far from some tourist sites on the island like Sami and Fiskardo (which was completely closed by the way - I hear it opens in April) but we didn't mind. We drove into Lixouri (a 5 min drive) and drove around to the amazing beaches in the area.
