It's a beautiful hotel, lots of greenery around, good food at the restaurant.
The hotel is dated; there was mold in the shower, and the bathtub was shabby. Broken tiles in the pool; the pool itself wasn't the cleanest. Street where the hotel is located is super busy. No sound isolation in the room; it was noisy at night. No mosquito nets in the room. It's really inconvenient if you want to travel somewhere from a hotel with a car. Every time you need to go to the pick-up point far from hotel. Last shuttle bus to ubud is at 6 pm. Most of the days they didn't have enough clean towels to change in the room; they just told us to use pool towels instead.

Loved the staff, beautiful setting in Sayan amongst rice fields, the view, the walkable paths and the fact that pets are allowed. It's our 3rd time coming, so we definitely love the place! It's also just 10 min by motorbike to the City but feels like quiet green beautiful "Ubud". The garden is so well curated, so are the rooms! All very spacious.
It was all perfect, if I had to give 2 tips to make it even better:
=> Breakfast: use real good quality butter croissants for breakfast and better bread like Sourdough or from a bakery (I'd rather have less in the basket but better quality, or even no free basket but a good quality croissant or pain au chocolate) not the margarine ones or toasts, it would really elevate the experience ten folds. Same for juices, only having squeezed fresh ones (not from the bottle from concentrate), not using chocolate sauce from a tube, etc. I'd rather have a bit less and less choices but better quality ingredients, it would really feel more luxurious and it's I think not a big adjustment to make on your side. People who come to Ubud are in general very health conscious, eat organic, etc. so it would be even more aligned with the quality of your hotel (and we'd come even more often!)
=> last thing, we stayed in the 3 beds villa on the road, there was a rooster early in the morning very very near at 5am for 2h the 1st night :-)

The staff (especially Eva and Robin) were extremely helpful, even before we physically arrived. They responded promptly to all my messages, organised beautiful room decorations for my daughter’s birthday, assisted with arranging an ATV ride.
Upon check-in, we encountered a few issues with the room, but Eva kindly showed us alternative rooms to choose from, and everything was resolved within 30 minutes.
The location is very calm and tranquil, with the resort surrounded by rice fields. To get to Ubud, you can either use the hotel shuttle or easily book a Grab bike.
The spa is stunning, the massage was absolutely perfect. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to try the Stone Chamber this time.
There was just one thing: the bathroom floor was very slippery. Perhaps providing an extra floor towel or mat would help improve safety.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The massage was amazing. The private pool was great. Our villa was cleaned regularly and the shuttle into Ubud was handy. 😊
The location amongst the rice farms is unique and interesting. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
A full length mirror in the bedrooms would be great.
A shelf in the shower in the second bathroom would’ve been handy.

Absolutely amazing villa for our honeymoon, felt comfortable just like home, very spacious. Truly recommend
Personally I found the room a bit dark could do with better lighting for taking outfit photos and selfies. But everything else was perfect

Amazing staff!! They went out of their way to make sure it was the most comfortable stay. They even arranged a birthday cake any sang and decorated the room. 10 out of 10
The location is a bit hidden, so there is buggy car to take you into town. The drop off point could be a bit more central in downtown because the road is dangerous to walk on foot

We booked the 3-bedroom villa with a group of 5 people. Both the property and the villa were beautiful and the staff were efficient and personable.
One thing I liked is at every meal on-site, they asked if there food allergies. While no one in our party had any food allergies, that level of consideration is something I hardly see with international travel. This extra mile really shows a lot about the care and consideration of the amazing staff.
A few of us booked the jet lag recovery spa treatment, which was phenomenal. Also, we all really enjoyed the onsite dining for both the food quality and friendly service.
One thing that makes this property stand out is its connection to nature. Everything except the bedrooms in our villa were open-air. After breakfast in the morning, I personally just enjoyed walking around and taking in how lush and beautiful the surroundings were. I personally enjoyed sharing the space with the geckos and hearing the roosters in the morning!
We loved this property so much we wish we could’ve stayed longer! No complaints!

It was away from hustle and bustle, set amongst rice fields, very tranquil. All the staff were amazing, polite and courteous. SPA treatment, top notch. Food in restaurant varied and tasty. Room spacious.

The staff is super nice! The resort is well maintained and beautiful. Quiet and amazing views. Great pool. Lots of activities (some free) organised everyday. Traditional dance dinner was amazing (thanks Edo!) but a bit pricey for the quality of the food (some of it was cold).
Gym is not located in the hotel per se.

Great room with swimming pool and greetings mornings and evenings by a gekko in the rooftop. Staff very friendly and useful. Relaxing compared to the vivid life downtown Ubud!
The arrival is somewhat surprising. Drop zone then a buggy to the reception. The kitchen dishes are all right but not really special.

Cozy wooden cottages with comfortable beds. Feels like staying in the middle of a forest. Room and bathroom clean, staff were very friendly, the massage at the spa was the best I had so far with warm welcoming staff. The breakfast as tasty with a super view.

Excellent service oriented staff
Good food options at decent prices
Buggy to Ubud
Location in between the Rice fields
Ubud is not within walking distance, you always need the hotel transport it a taxi
Ubud is (too) busy with traffic. Getting back with taxi sometimes takes 30 to 45 minutes on a 6 km trip

We stayed 4 nights in a Deluxe Double Room. The atmosphere of the hotel is very nice. The staff is excellent. All of them are very polite and you can reach them very easily. The room was very clean and locks authentic at the same time. Haven’t seen any bug or mosquito in the room. That was very important for us.
The surroundings of the rooms are really nice, full of trees and a small pool inside the middle.
The towels need to be changed. They are pretty old. They can also consider to change the soap and the shower gel brand. They don’t seem to foam at all.

Very nice setting of the resort, well maintained gardens, pool and footpaths. Personnel was always very nice, speaking English well and responsive to inquiries via WhatsApp. Overall very clean rooms, hotel areas, and with character, absolutely adorable rooms (we had a Suite with balcony and a Bungalow with patio).
Transport from the drop off/pick up point was done with buggies, that you can call via WhatsApp. This was a good service and in general the wait was limited. Breakfast had good variety, a la carte, with sweet and savoury dishes, good coffee (espresso, cappuccino). The chia pudding was very good, with fresh bananas and strawberries.
Fruit was limited at breakfast and not tasty at all (rockmelon, watermelon and papaya), also limited in fresh fruit juices.
It rained during our stay and one evening, because of the rain the upper side of the restaurant was closed, leaving only few tables on the GF. We got back around 8pm and they said we can order and have dinner in our room - unfortunately it took more than 1h30mins for the food to arrive - however they offered a 10% discount.
The room was comfortable, although they seem to miss on some very basic facilities - only one chair in the room, so to have dinner in the room, for two, we had to get creative. At times, the room service left us less towels than normal and had to ask for them.
The bungalow was a bit small and with no place for even keeping the suitcase other than on the floor.
Also, the bungalow my daughters stayed in had an interesting bathroom half uncovered, so the shower was entirely “under the sky” and the toilet, although under a roof, was completely under the rain because of the wind, and the toilet paper was entirely wet. Thankfully, it only rained one day…

This is my second time in Bali, I have stayed around 15 hotels and this is the worst when I compare with the price. It’s too expensive. And the restaurant price is overpriced. Please avoid this restaurant at all costs. I had to eat because we were with a small baby and unable to go to restaurants at night, because hotel is very isolated.
1. Restaurant price (too expensive)
2. Direct price to book hotel is much expensive thank OTA
4. Poor cleaning (those toilets floors and wall tiles were super dirty)

The staff was amazing. The resort is very good and so immersed in the nature. The spa was wonderful and the yoga class was very nice and relaxing. The restaurant food was great and had so many options / many vegan options too.I would definitely go back and stay more days next time.
The lights were a bit too dim for us, but it gives a moody atmosphere.

5/5 – The perfect balance of peace, adventure, and heartfelt hospitality
This hotel is a true hidden gem nestled among the rice fields – far from the noise, yet full of life. It’s the kind of place where you wake up to birdsong, spend your day exploring, and unwind in the evening while watching the sun set over the paddies.
The accommodation is beautiful – every detail reflects the natural surroundings. The room was stylish, minimal yet cozy, with stunning views over the rice terraces. It truly felt like living inside a postcard. The bathroom was modern and spotless, with fresh towels provided daily.
The activities were a real highlight: yoga ricefield trekking etc. Each one was well-organized and led by local guides who shared stories, culture, and genuine passion.
And the staff – absolutely wonderful. Kind, attentive, and naturally warm-hearted. You can feel they truly care and want you to have the best possible stay.
The restaurant also deserves praise: fresh, flavorful, and creative dishes made with local ingredients. Breakfasts were healthy and varied, while dinners were a real culinary treat.
In short: if you’re looking to relax, recharge, and experience something meaningful – this is the place. More than just a stay, it’s an experience that will stay with you long after you’ve left.
Everything was perfect

The hotel grounds and our villa were beautiful. We spent a lot of time just relaxing on site. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the ease of being able to walk to the restaurant or order room service until late at night since we were traveling with our baby. We got stuck in our room one afternoon during a heavy rainstorm and the pool area in our garden became flooded. The staff was very quick to fix the issue.
We weren't able to do several things that were offered on site since we were traveling with our baby. I had reached out beforehand and they had assured me booking the cooking class/yoga/ etc as a family wouldn't be an issue. Once we were there, they asked us if we would get a babysitter for our son or if my husband and I would just do the classes at separate times. We would have probably planned our days a bit differently had we known this would be an issue.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire Arya Arkananta Resort family. You hosted us for our honeymoon, but made us feel so at home that it truly felt like our own warm haven. We are especially grateful for the special gestures and amenities you provided to make our honeymoon even more memorable.
Without a doubt, your resort boasts stunning surroundings, thoughtful design, and a beautiful garden. The breakfast options were plentiful and delicious; we highly recommend anyone planning to stay to choose a package that includes breakfast. Our dinners were also fantastic, and the entire restaurant team was warm, welcoming, and attentive.
The spa was also absolutely wonderful – we felt so relaxed and satisfied with the experience. Everyone was incredibly kind, and the facilities were impeccably clean.
From the bellhops to the front desk, housekeeping to the management team, everyone made us feel so welcome. It truly felt like home.
Thank you for your spotless rooms, friendly service, delicious meals, lush surroundings, and for welcoming us with such personal touches, even remembering our names. We hope to return to Arya Arkananta Resort one day.
With love,
Deniz & Tansu
