La ubicación, muy cerca de la playa y de los restaurantes

El apartamento es muy cuco y el balcón da al mar (que no a la playa) y eso hace que tenga más encanto. El hecho de tener parking también le da un plus. Los vecinos son tranquilos.

Es un poco engañoso porque en el anuncio pone primera línea de playa y lo que hay enfrente es un entrante de rocas grandes pegado al club náutico. Ni puedes tomar el sol ni bañarte ya que tiene 2 metros de rocas. La playa más cercana está como a 20 minutos y el pueblo a unos 30’. Nosotras elegimos esta opción pensando que realmente estábamos en primera línea de playa. Las camas pequeñas de la habitación secundaria son incómodas, deberían renovar esos colchones.

Absolutely stunning location overlooking the beach and with a free car park. Lovely clean and comfortable apartment with a great sized balcony for enjoy on the view. Without AC I wouldn’t book this apartment in the mid summer months again but, I would definitely come back towards the start or the end of the season. There is a very small lift which was very useful for me as I have mobility issues and need to use a wheelchair and or stick. You wouldn’t be able to get a wheelchair and an extra person in but, it was plenty big enough for me to use. Altea is a lovely area and the apartment couldn’t be better placed. It’s just far enough away from the bars and restaurants which I am guessing could get noisy but close enough to be able to wander up and enjoy a meal or drink whilst enjoying the view. There’s also a lovely beach bar right opposite the apartments which was always busy so whilst we didn’t have the time to use it ourselves I’m guessing that it delivers a good service and price to be so popular. We were sad to be leaving for rest of our road trip along the coast and will definitely be back. It would be great if more fans and improved bedding could be introduced by then. 😊

We booked knowing that there was no AC in the apartment and being exceptionally hot during our stay we could have really done with more fans. It’s a shame that the bedding has already been mentioned by a number of previous visitors as I would have liked to think that this would have been resolved by the manager / owner. Sadly this wasn’t the case so we also had to put up with hot, bobbling bed linen that I personally found very uncomfortable to sleep on (I am the original Princess and the Pea). The bed wasn’t the most comfortable we have slept on but it certainly wasn’t the worst and despite having to fashion my own bedding to lay on top and the extreme heat, I was surprised that I slept quite well. The washing machine wasn’t working correctly and despite following the instruction it completely ruined a brand new blouse. The owners / managers need to look at it to see why every program is heating to 60 degrees.
