Staff is helpful, and the bath tube is good

The room is clean. Location is great. It’s close to the restaurant area, shopping and subway but it’s at the quiet corner. Close to 7-11. Staff are nice.

Bathroom dryer doesn’t work very well. It takes 24 hours to dry few clothes.

Great locaion by Ueno station, quiet rooms, good to have washer in the room, also liked having instructions to use everything in the room. staff were helpful with arranging luggage collection, more pillows, general advice. So much in the area. Kitchenette was well set up.

Because there was no carpet, when we sat on the bed against the wall, the bed always slid out from the wall. Maybe could use some grippy stoppers on the legs.

We had an otherwise pleasant stay. However, we accidentally lost the room keycard on our final day and were charged ¥5,000 for a new keycard. We understood that a replacement fee might apply, but the amount was excessive. The hotel should inform guests about this fee upfront. Finding out that we’d lost the keycard AND that we would be charged ¥5,000 for a new one came as a rude shock. Future guests may wish to confirm the hotel’s lost-key policy in advance.
