It was really Just what I’d want from a rural Cottage in Scotland. Very much away from outside Life, Nice and Rural. Also a Spacious cottage.

Spacious - plenty of room for 8 adults.
Pool table was a great touch.
Very comfortable beds/pillows.
Bathrooms very clean.

Door open on arrival. Candles lit which gave nice, homely smell. Very spacious inside and games room with pool table for kids. Hot tub (extra £40) within enclosed area. Lovely big garden with tree swing
Most rooms would benefit from a coat of paint to freshen the property up.
New chairs in games room or chairs recovered as looks tatty at present also a TV or speaker for music within this room might be a good addition
Pool table ripped and only one cue to play with (tip was missing when we arrived) so could benefit from being replaced
Only one TV within whole cottage within livingroom which was disappointing for the kids as couldn't watch in bed.
No welcome hamper as shown which would have provided a nice touch as no shops near by - milk, jam, irn bru, shortbread
Hot tub outdoor - flip flops or robes would be nice extra when embracing the cold and stones to entrance
