Sandhill House

Absolutely stunning property. One of the best overnight stays we have ever experienced. Breakfast was absolutely delicious cooked to perfection. Highly recommend

The property is stunning, sitting proudly at the end of a private driveway within mature woodland. We had a very warm welcome from the owner, our room was a suite with everything you could want. Great views of the sea and separate sitting areas. The outside are was lovely to wander around as it has its own grounds and a friendly Alpaca to pet in the adjacent paddock! We spent a nice chilled out hour on the seated patio area, reading our books, looking out over the Firth of Clyde. Our breakfast was wonderful with everything you could think of being provided to an excellent standard. Overall - I've stayed in many a 5 star hotel over the years and some of those came nowhere close to the level of comfort that Sandhill provided. Such a relaxed environment to stay and chill out.

Thank you so much to Elaine, my son and i had a wonderful stay in a very large suite. We had Excellent breakfast, before playing golf. I strongly recommend Sandhill House to anyone visiting Troon or using it as a base for visiting Ayrshire. Many thanks Alec & Alec

Super cute place and lovely room with nice breakfast. We stayed for just 1 night for a nearby wedding, only complaint was we should have stayed an extra night to actually enjoy the place.
