die Unterkunft war sehr gut - geräumig, sauber und gemütlich. da es kühl und regnerisch war, haben wir die Klimaanlagen und den handtuchtrockner sehr zu schätzen gewusst. ein kleine Bäckerei für frische Brötchen oder Gebäck ist gleich gegenüber, ebenso ein kleiner Supermarkt und eine Apotheke. alles sehr angenehm und unkompliziert - wirklich empfehlenswert.

Odeceixe is a lovely village. It was a cosy cottage with character. The host allowed us to enter earlier than usual as the weather was poor that day. There is a lovely bakery just in the back.

There is a street on either side and the bakery started making a lot of loud noise the first night at 2am for a couple of hours. The second night was ok as it was Saturday and they are closed Sunday but it was noisy again, though not quite as bad Sunday night. The front bedroom smelt a bit mouldy so my friend who gets asthma had to sleep in teh living room. This wouldn't be a problem for others but not good if you have a problem with mould. The stove top was troublesome to get to work but it did intermittently.
