Set within our private 180,000 m² estate, the house offers a rare combination of complete privacy, comfort, and wild nature. Step outside and you can wander through the forest, walk down to the Seixe River, or follow private trails up the hillside for beautiful views towards the Serra de Monchique.
Whether you spend your days exploring the Costa Vicentina or simply relaxing on one of the panoramic terraces, Ahua is a place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature.
THE SPACE
Our modern, nature-inspired home has been designed to make you feel comfortable in every season.
The house has underfloor heating throughout, combined with high-performance cork insulation in the roof, helping maintain a comfortable temperature naturally without the need for air conditioning.
There is also high-speed fiber internet throughout the house, making Ahua a great place to work remotely if you need to stay connected while surrounded by nature.
For a good night's sleep, both bedrooms have comfortable premium boxspring mattresses, chosen with support and comfort in mind.
KITCHEN & DINING
You enter into a bright, open dining area with a large table overlooking the surrounding forest. It's a lovely space for long breakfasts, relaxed dinners, or sharing a meal with friends and family.
The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped for cooking at home, with a 4-ring induction hob, electric oven, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, blender, electric kettle, and all the essential cookware and kitchen equipment you may need for a comfortable stay.
TWO PANORAMIC TERRACES
One of the special things about Ahua is having two separate outdoor spaces, allowing you to follow the sun or find some shade throughout the day.
THE BACK DINING TERRACE
Located directly off the kitchen and entrance, this peaceful terrace overlooks the garden and forest. It has a large outdoor dining table, making it easy to enjoy meals outside while surrounded by nature.
THE FRONT LOUNGE TERRACE
The living room opens directly onto our spacious front terrace. Comfortable outdoor seating and uninterrupted views across the green hills of the Seixe Valley make this the perfect spot for morning coffee, an afternoon book, or watching the sunset.
THE LIVING ROOM
The bright, open living room features beautiful exposed timber ceilings and large windows that bring the surrounding landscape indoors.
The sofa can also be converted into a comfortable sofabed for additional guests.
On cooler evenings, light the wood-burning stove, settle into the sofa, and enjoy the cosy atmosphere of the valley.

The house has two bedrooms.
VALLEY-VIEW MASTER BEDROOM
The master bedroom has a custom wooden bed with a premium boxspring mattress, warm ambient lighting, and large double windows that open onto a private patio area.

TWIN GARDEN-VIEW BEDROOM
This flexible bedroom has two comfortable twin boxspring mattresses and is ideal for friends or families travelling together.
The large windows open onto a raised patio overlooking the garden.
NATURE-INSPIRED BATHROOM
The bathroom combines modern comfort with materials inspired by the land.
You'll find a beautiful custom live-edge cork oak vanity, complemented by a handmade light fixture made from medronho wood sourced directly from the property.
After a day of hiking or exploring the coast, unwind in the large bathtub with a rain-head shower.
THE PRIVATE ESTATE
Ahua sits on a 180,000 m² private estate where nature is very much part of the experience.
You have access to private walking trails through the forest, the Seixe River, and hillside paths leading to panoramic viewpoints towards the Serra de Monchique.
The property is also home to Ahua Grow, our reforestation project. By staying with us, you are directly supporting our efforts to restore the native landscape — more than 30,000 oak trees have already been planted on the land.
