Lovely cottage!
A lovely cottage! Upon arriving, we were greeted by the neighbor who was very nice and explained everything in the house to us. There was heating in every room, a small but more than sufficient kitchen, everything was super clean and all in all it was just a great place to stay. The location is also great. You're in the centre of Cabourg within 5 minutes, yet the street of the cottage was very quiet and calm. So: great location, clean and lovely cottage and very nice staff.
As a 1.90m tall Dutch person, just the bed and shower were a bit small. But this was not a big downside.

We loved this house. Location is perfect. We would really like to return.
The cottage was charming and well fitted out. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was very quiet. Nice to have two good double bedrooms and two bathrooms. We could walk to everything…the shops and cafes, market, beach and promenade. We felt very much at home.
The kitchenette was small with not much work surface which could be challenging. The courtyard out the back was lovely to have but in the shade most of the time.

A lovely little house on a quiet street within walking distance of the sea, the shops and the market
Excellent location in a quiet, leafy area just around the corner from the shops and market and a short stroll to the sea front. Beautifully modernised little house with excellent plumbing and hot water. Impeccably clean with good quality bedding and towels. More spacious than I’d imagined with a comfortable living/dining area and bathroom downstairs and two bright airy bedrooms and shower upstairs. The kitchen was tiny but very well equipped with kitchen utensils, crockery and glassware. Muriel, who was there to greet us and see us off, was very kind and helpful and made sure we had an enjoyable stay.

Nettes Haus mit Abstrichen in ruhiger, zentraler Lage
Wir haben uns grundsätzlich in dem Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt. Gute ruhige Lage, nett eingerichtet (Ausnahmen Bett und Kleinigkeiten) und sehr nette Atmosphäre und Houskeeping (Danke Muriel).
Es gab einige Irritationen zu Beginn mit einem weiteren Mietvertrag. Schwierig war neben einigen Kleinigkeiten (notwendiger Austausch einiger sehr in die Jahre gekommen Möbel wie die durchgesessene Couch , die Kinderstühle im Wohnzimmer und der mehr als beengten Küche) vor allem das Schlafen. Betten von 1,40 auf 1,90 sind für zwei normal große Mitteleuropäer nicht adäquat. Die Verdunklung im Schlafzimmer (bereits von anderen Gästen montiert) ist bei einer grellen Straßenlaterne direkt vor dem Fenster nicht ausreichend. Hier könnte man einfach Abhilfe schaffen. Trotzdem ein schönes Haus mit Potential nach oben, wenn sich die Vermieter etwas mehr kümmern würden

Rust en toch vlakbij het toeristische hart en de zee.
Een charmant huisje , heel dicht bij het centrum (een overdekte markt vlakbij) en de zee. Een hele warme ontvangst door Muriël. Over het huis ligt een park, leuk voor kinderen. Cabourg is een erg mooie stad met mooie gebouwen en leuke restaurants. De slaapkamers hebben een B&B gevoel, met stijlvol opgedekte bedden en bovendien handdoeken voorzien in beide badkamers (pluspunt : keuze bad en douche).
Een klein koertje met een norse (achter)buurman die niet tegen barbecue kan.

Jolie petite maison décorée avec soin et possédant un exterieur. A 500m de la plage.
La proximité de la mer permet de jolies balades. Merci à Muriel pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. Les deux salles de bain et la cuisine sont très petites mais fonctionnelles. Les chambres sont agréables et la literie excellente. On peut assez facilement se garer devant de la maison.
