We were visiting Matera and AltaMura and the town of Santeramo is ideal for these tourist attractions. This is a working town and the price of Rosa Blu reflected that rather than the tourist prices of the other places nearby.
The B&B was ideal for us. The town is not pretty and there are not many places to eat in the evening. There is a ristorante and pizzeria just near Rosa Blu and I would advise going straight there. Don't bother looking round for anywhere else. It is not very easy to park in the street and we put our car in the carpark outside the supermarket each evening.
