Sand By Me offers coastal casual style and overwhelming character in an amazing, second-row location. Renovated in the winter of 2017, this classic beach cottage has all the charm and comforts you need for a dream vacation. An open beachfront lot in front of the home provides direct views of the Atlantic shore from the main living area, the dining room, and the main bedroom.
The bright interior is beaming with joyful sunlight, providing a lovely reminder that you are at the beach and to savor the peace of your vacation. No detail has been overlooked to ensure your comfort. Internet access and flat screen TVs with Roku will keep each guest entertained if a brief afternoon shower interrupts your sunny day on the beach. Sit back and relax in the shade of the screened porch while taking in views of the ocean and pelicans flying by in formation.
Downstairs, the separate exterior entry was completely overhauled in the fall of 2018 and features a second living area, a full kitchen, two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and an additional laundry area. From the house to the shore is only a quick walk across the boulevard. Take a break from the daily grind, come on down, and get on island time!

Upstairs and downstairs are two separate spaces with separate entrances. The home doesn't have interior stairs connecting the two floors. You will need to go outside to enter each floor.
Due to this home's location on Palmetto Boulevard and per the Edisto Beach Police Department, golf carts cannot be driven to or from this property

Sand by me had the best view and great easy beach access. The kitchens were stocked with everything you need. And the lower level had an ice maker! The bathrooms were nice and they had 2 washers and 2 dryers. We would rent this house again.

Great view, short easy walk to the beach! Check in was easy, just pick up your keys. The main kitchen had everything you need, so did the smaller kitchen and it had an ice maker ! Bedrooms were spacious and bathrooms were nice. Dog friendly with a fenced yard! Would love to stay there again !

The house was gray, the fenced yard was great for our dog. Location was directly across from the beach, view could be limited if the build a house across the street. Easy access to everything on Edisto, would definitely stay again.

The location was wonderful but construction has started on one of the lots across the street. Hopefully the other lot stays vacant so the views and beach access will continue. I have mobility issues so I felt lucky to find this house with two bedrooms and a “full” kitchen downstairs. The kitchen was not fully equipped. We had to borrow pans and utensils from upstairs to cook and there was only ONE plate to eat off of. The A/C downstairs was powered by three very loud window units - in the bedrooms and den area not the kitchen or bathroom. Thankfully we brought fans and were able to slightly cool the kitchen and bathroom. The house was very clean and no bugs! The downstairs washer/dryer worked well. The upstairs decor was much nicer than downstairs and we were able to have family over to share a meal. With a few changes this could be a great house and worth the money. We will be looking for something else in the future.
