About this apartment rental
Our apartments are located in a privileged place in the city, Carrer Colom is a small pedestrian street that connects Las Ramblas with Plaza Real. Right in the center of Barcelona, in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, surrounded by an infinity of gastronomic and cultural offerings, a few steps from the Boquería Market and the Liceu, the famous Opera of the city, the port of Barcelona and the beaches of the Barceloneta, medieval monuments such as the Cathedral or Santa María del Mar, modernist monuments such as Palau Güell, the Picasso museum or the MACBA are just a short walk away. Our apartments combine the classicism of a building over 120 years old with a modern, functional design and with all the comforts: equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, large double bed with viscoelastic mattress, parquet floors, air conditioning, television, etc. . The building has an elevator but you have to climb about 20 steps from the street so it is not recommended for people with mobility problems. For this reason and because we do not have everything necessary for them, we do not accept children under 2 years of age or people with mobility problems.
The neighborhood is lively, bustling, full of life and tourism, the bars and restaurants are open until late, which means that some nights there can be noise in the street.
The Tourist Tax charged by the Barcelona City Council is not included in the price and must be payed at the arrival to the apartment.

Apartment was exactly as described. We wanted to stay right near La Rambla and got exactly that! Very centrally located along the popular tourist area as well as a plaza that was literally just outside the building entrance. The apartment was well stocked and supplied with the necessities for a week-long stay, like toiletries and household items. I would absolutely stay here again! As noted in the listing, there is a flight of stairs you must climb to reach the elevator to the apartment on the third (3rd) floor. We fully expected the stairs based on the listing and it's simply worth noting that it just takes a little bit of effort when first bringing suitcases up to the property (especially if you've overpacked like we did!).

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment! It had everything that we needed, including a full kitchen and a washing machine. A comfortable bed! The location was perfect, just steps off Las Ramblas to the right and leading to Plaza Real on the left. Lots of access to great restaurants. The 20 steps leading to the first floor were a climb with our way too heavy suitcases but we were warned about this when booking. We would definately recommend this apartment and return on our next trip!
