About this apartment rental
Great 70 m² apartment with lots of natural light that consists of 2 large double bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with 2 single trundle beds, both beds are comfortable), 4 balconies, living-dining room with 1 double sofa bed comfortable, kitchen and 1 bathroom with shower. The apartment is in the fourth floor an old building typical of the Gothic quarter. Both have been recently renovated. The modern and beautiful decoration of the apartment combines perfectly with the old style of the building. The building is accessed from Ripoll Street but the apartment and the main façade face the Plaza dels Peixos (Fish Square). As a curious fact, in the building where this apartment is located, the oldest pharmacy in the city still operates. Public parking very close to the apartment (Avinguda de la Catedral). Note: there is an even closer parking lot, but for the first day it is easier to get to the one on Av. de la Catedral. The building where the apartment is located is right next to the Gothic cathedral of Barcelona, just 500 meters from the port and its adjacent beaches. Due to its unique location, it is not necessary to use any type of transport, being a 5-minute walk from Las Ramblas and Plaça Catalunya. Most of the museums and most important attractions are accessible on foot, however the main Bus and Metro lines are located right next to the apartment. It does not have an elevator like most of the old buildings in the Gothic quarter.
The city of Barcelona has a tourist tax of 5€ per person/ day to be paid in cash on arrival at the apartment.
* If the arrival is later than 20:00h, there will be a surcharge of 30 € to be paid in cash on arrival.
**If the arrival is later than 00:00h, there will be a surcharge of 50€ to be paid in cash at the time of arrival.

This place is incredibly charming and perfectly matches the gothic character of its Barcelona location. The kitchen is very well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals if you choose to dine in. The location couldn’t be better—supermarkets, shops, the beach, and the train system are all within easy walking distance, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby.One thing to note is that the entryway is quite narrow, so carrying large suitcases up to the fourth floor can be a bit challenging. That said, it’s a minor inconvenience compared to everything else the place offers.Communication with the landlord was smooth and prompt throughout the stay. Overall, I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the area.

Great location. Loved all the balconies. The communication with the host was excellent. The apartment is on the fourth floor with no elevator but we found it well worth the walk

We were so happy with the location, the space, the overall experience was more than I ever could’ve expected. The owner of the property and the agent were very accommodating to all my needs. Highly appreciated the transfer to in front of the airport. I would have you recommend the space to anybody wanting to travel Barcelona MP in the heart of the city.

I adequately communicated with property manager and lady who will process our checkni. When we got there whichbis the time for check in, apartment wasn't ready and cleaning crew still mopping . Carolina was rushing us stated that we did not complete the online check in, which we never got an email that we are suppose to fill out. On their site they said we are going to pay 4 euro per person per night but the lady ask for 5 euronper person per night. Overall not happy with the process but location is good.
