Great place for your short summer stays

The communication and instructions ahead of time are clear and welcoming. The location is great: close to the beach, but also to the train station (25 minutes walking distance or public transports a few meters around the residence). The studio was cozy and had everything necessary for a short stay. It also included a two persons bed + a sofa bed which I think is cool. A nice view from the room which allowed a lot of light in the room and a clear view of outside.

The bathroom is pretty but not very practical. After a shower, the water flows into the room and the dust mop is not enough. Just having an actual mop with a bucket should be enough to fix the problem. There is no TV, apparently to allow you to connect to your friends and family better but at the end of a long day where all you do is visit and talk, I think a TV would have been a very welcome bonding time. In the summer, I think a fan or something in the studio could be a great idea, because at night when you close the windows, it's too warm inside, but when they are open, the street noise keeps you from sleeping/ wakes you up, especially for light sleepers.

Slightly disappointing experience due to low floor room

Very friendly host. Super location - right by the beach and sea and central Ostend. Easy check in and check out with the host. The apartment also had everything one needed (dishwasher etc.). Clean and tidy.

The room was on the first floor. There was no views of the ocean (as in the pictures). Also, there was no air-conditioning, meaning that the windows had to stay open. Lots of noise from the street, and very hot at night. For some reason, the curtains chosen made it impossible to open the windows all the way, meaning that we could not sit in the chairs with the window open. Very bad solution.

De locatie was ideaal.Het was knus ingericht.

Tips. Misschien een regendouche installeren, dan is de badkamer minder nat De 2 hangzetels vooraan nemen veel plaats in.Daar zouden de tafel en stoelen kunnen staan. Grote platte borden mankeren. Het sleutelkluisje is heel onhandig daar onderin en zeker voor mensen die minder te been zijn. Het slot van de deur beneden gaat heel slecht.Zelfs de man die kwam poetsen bevestigde dat. WiFi was heel slecht.En misschien toch een tv.

Geweldige studio op een top locatie!

Wat een fantastische studio. Keurig netjes en alles schoon. Van alle gemakken voorzien en de ruimte goed ingedeeld.

Wij vonden het bed iets wat aan de zachte kant maar voor een aantal nachten prima te doen.

Absolut keine Empfehlung. Nicht am Strand, kein Meerblick, kein Komfort, schlechte Kommunikation.

Das einzig gute an dieser Unterkunft war meine Begleitung.

Die Unterkunft ist nicht direkt am Strand. Sie hat auch keinen Meerblick. Man schaut auf massives Gebäude das vielleicht zu Königszeiten mal gepflegt war. Vor der Tür ist eine Straßenbahn Haltestelle. Man hört die Straßenbahn auch deutlich. Genauso wie die lärmenden Menschen die aus der Amüsiermeile kommen und sich dort sammeln. Es ist ein winzig kleiner Raum. Das Bett ist ein Schrankbett. Es teilt das Zimmer, ist es herunter geklappt kann man sich in dem Raum kaum noch bewegen. Man schläft quasi in der Küche, da das Bett direkt neben der Küchenzeile steht. Das ist unbequem, das Bettlaken hatte mehrere große Löcher. Keine Handseife oder sonst irgendwas. 1 Handtuch für 3 Tage. Mobiliar ist abgenutzt und auch beschädigt. Die Dusche läuft nach vorn aus sodass man mit einem Abzieher das Wasser wieder in den Ausguss wischen muss damit man nach dem Duschen keine nassen Füße bekommt. Und noch viele Kleinigkeiten mehr. Die Gastgeber haben unsere freundliche Nachricht dazu und unseren vorzeitigen Abreisewunsch ignoriert.

Leuk knus appartement met mooi uitzicht

Mooie locatie dichtbij het strand, tram en stad. Leuk uitzicht vanaf de relex stoelen. Even wat puzzelen met het bed, maar leuke speelse oplossing voor de ruimte. Alles in het appartement binnen handbereik.

Peut mieux faire

L'emplacement, dans un quartier sympa, à proximité de la Promenade. L'appartement est bien équipé pour cuisiner.

Pas de vue sur la mer, on sent juste sa proximité. Le matelas n'était pas propre. Clef pas aisée à récupérer. L'agencement des meubles serait à revoir. Le lit pliant bien que confortable prend trop de place. Lorqu'il est ouvert, on a du mal à circuler dans le studio. Les deux fauteuils suspendus sont trop volumineux pour la pièce et ne servent pas à grand chose, étant donné qu'on ne voit que la rue. Pas de moyen d'opacifier la fenêtre, il y a juste un store bon marché qui empêche de voir à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Pas de télé.
