The location is excellent, a short walk into St Ives centre and an even shorter walk to Porthminster beach. The apartment is absolutely spotless with every amenity you could need. Matt (the owner I assume) is brilliant to deal with, we booked last minute as our original accommodation wasn't up to standard. He was very helpful and even tried to free the apartment up the same night for us.

Nothing to dislike apart from my daughter moaning about the walk up the hill back to the apartment 😂

The location was perfect. The apartment was small but the space was used really well and the decor was lovely. We all loved it.

The property is renovated and in very good order. The heating works well when required.

Somewhere to put luggage

The location was good and the apartment was furbished to a good standard.

The apartment was much too small for a family of five. It should have been designed as a one-bedroom apartment given the limited space. Back where I come from, it wouldn't have been licensed for more than that. Moving around inside was quite difficult due to its small size, and there was barely enough space to stow our suitcases. Moreover, the kitchen lacked a washing machine, making it very inconvenient to do the dishes in the limited space available. The pots and pans were stored under the kitchen sink, along with the rubbish bin. The girls felt extremely claustrophobic in the bunk beds, and the top bunk was too tight for them to sleep comfortably. They said they would prepare the sofa bed, but unfortunately, they didn't follow through, leaving us to do it ourselves. While the apartment seemed clean at first, we discovered a significant amount of dust, hair, and debris when we had to retrieve bed linen from inside the master bedroom's bed for the sofa bed. Additionally, the sofa bed had not been properly vacuumed, which was quite evident when making it. The shower in the master bedroom leaked to the side, and the clothes horse meant for drying clothes was broken. It is clear that the property management needs to pay more attention to these details. All in all, considering what the apartment offered, it turned out to be too expensive in the end.
