Location was great, for travelling around the Cotswold. Would definitely recommend, and stay again.

We arranged with the Vicky to arrive early, however on arrival no was at home. When we tried the door, it was very stiff, so we believed it was locked. We left and returned 2 hours later, only to be told, the key had been left inside, and that the handle was very stiff. This did not however distract from the lovely stay.

Great place to explore the countryside, the accomadation set up was ok, but not special.

The key was in the door, we passed the owner on the way to the accomadation who shouted the instructions to us. The bed was very good standard. It's position was great being near all the places we wanted to visit.

These are small things, but important. The air vents in the kitchen and bathroom were very dirty. There was only just 2 of everything!! 2 plates 2 cups, 2 dishes, 2 forks etc You had to wash up as you went along. Not great quality, some didn't even match. I was hard unlocking and locking the door. The TV wires were just hanging down, not boxed in, all looked a be uncared for. The place felt ok, but nothing special and a bit bland.

Nothing. We had a lovely two night stay. If I had to be really nitpicky, I’d say the shower could be more powerful. But that’s all I could say. Everything was excellent.

Lovely, cozy studio with stunning surroundings

We loved the location of the studio - it’s in the hosts land with a house and a cottage next to the accommodation, but this created a safe feeling, and it was still very quiet (we hardly saw anyone still!). The lands around the property are beautiful, and you are given access to use, which our dogs loved. The location is nice, and gives you the full ‘cotswolds’ experience… I do think you need to own a car to stay here, as once out of the property, it’s on a fast main road with no pavements/ nothing close enough to walk (unless you’re hiking and want to cover distance), but this wasn’t a problem at all for us and we enjoyed the drives, the scenery is stunning. We visited bourton-on-the-water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton in Marsh, burford, chipping Norton, Naunton - all of these places are very much in driving distances with great drives through the amazing countryside. WiFi worked great! Heating was great! Sleeping area was super cozy. Kitchen was lovely. The host, Vicky, was very accommodating - sending us full lists of restaurant recommendations and things to do in the cotswolds, as well as directions to get to the studio/ where to park. Everything was very seamless from booking, to arriving, our stay was great and very simple in terms of check-in/ check-out. Overall, I would definitely recommend The Studio on Far Hill… we had a great time, thank you!

Our only comments would be the pillows/ mattress are quite ‘firm’. This is personal preference but had I read this in a comment from someone else’s review, I would have bought my own pillows and been a bit more comfortable :) The Wires by the TV screen need tidying up as it doesn’t give the best ‘finish’ for the living area. And finally, the hob didn’t seem to work for us in the kitchen. I could turn it on, and it was heating the frying pan/ saucepan (tried all the ones that were provided to see if it would fix the problem, but it didn’t) but the pans just weren’t getting hot enough. We tried to boil/ fry some eggs for our breakfast but it just wouldn’t work properly. Not too much of a problem, as you have a great oven and microwave that down the job!

Great location for visiting National Trust properties, of which there were several nearby, so able to make good use of my membership, also very close to the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water. Lovely place to relax when my energy ran out.

Absolutely EXCELLENT

I loved every bit of the property! it had everything we needed. the bed was super comfy, sheets felt luxurious. simply stunning. We came with our Dachshund , so of course the garden and fields were our favourite and she was spoilt rotten and slept like an angel. It was her first ever holiday and she had the best time of her life! We are definitely coming back! The host is incredible , gives you Superb details of things to do , pubs restaurants and lots of links so you can plan your stay in advance if you wish. Fantastic

Expensive but lacking in key areas.

The owners were very friendly. It was set in beautiful grounds. The kitchen was well appointed.

For the money paid, we didn't feel we got good value. We knew it would be very small but there were no homely touches, the shower was incredibly weak and there was a cheap mattress and bedding. There is a busy road right behind the studio and there is no where to sit out next to it. It was also fairly isolated. In order to reach any walking trails or the nearest village, you had to walk along busy, unpaved roads.
