The location was excellent and the outlook over the country side was fantastic. Ample room for a family of 6.

There’s nothing really to dislike about the property but it does sit on a busy B road. Shame the property is not secure (gaps in fencing) for those that have dogs and children. The grass was overgrown when we arrived which was a shame as we spent a lot time in the garden as the weather was glorious.

Bed in master room could do with a new mattress and garden area wasn’t fully secure for dogs.

Great house in good location but could be updated

Great house, nice and warm, had everything we needed. Had basic but functional furniture though the springs need to be replaced on one of the sofas.

single beds on the landing which gave no privacy, couldn’t close the curtains on the road side. dogs kept going in the river

we loved the place. hosts were attentive. really appreciated the advice on how to walk to stow - best things we did.

spacious - the sitting room and dining room were large. several bathrooms and toilets. kitchen well equipped. the view was of a field - we wanted the out in the country feel. the barn was beautifully constructed.

next to a busy road so could hear traffic all night. one bedroom was hard to warm due to high ceilings. sofas esp the older ones were uncomfortable- need replacing. most beds were comfortable except 4 poster bed.

Lovely large lounge and good general standards of presentation. Nice easy parking and good garden and patio space. Loaf of bread and essentials supplied.

Showers were very small and difficult to use. Some kitchen utensils a bit old and scruffy.

Configuration of the barn, means noise travels around it very easily making it hard for people to go to bed early whilst others stay up.

Perfect country break

The cottage was very spacious and clean and warm. The kitchen was well stocked for self catering and beds very comfortable. The living space very comfortable.

Not much to dislike! No sky tv? The showers were a little small but that really doesn’t matter!
