Very comfortable indeed, everything was provided for, and in a great central location from which to explore and get out to various Cotswold villages. The very prompt service to repair / resolve the leaking sink in the bathroom once the problem was phoned through. Thank you. Overall, a brilliant four day stay.

A couple of things ..... - poor condition of the property information booklet. This booklet, which was referred to in the welcome SMS (and found on the kitchen table), was found to be water-damaged; some pages were problematic to read. A replacement booklet with a better / cleaner copy (with an update to the wi-fi details included) is required. - clearer directions to the property. Although there was a description of the cottage location (along with a map location link) in the SMS message received just before we arrived, it was dark and raining when we turned up on Saturday afternoon. I found it a bit difficult to actually locate Walnut Cottage; there are a number of cottages along Hospital Road that are numbered #1. A more fuller description of how to get to the property in the welcome instructions and on the booking.com site (along the following lines) would certainly help those unfamiliar with the area (e.g. in the fading light it was not easy to identify what was referred to in the access instructions as .... the 'Old Garage'): 'From the High Street, proceed down Corder's Lane and turn right into Hospital Road. Walnut Cottage is the first cottage 80 metres on the right. The cottage is adjacent to Marsh Court and diagonally opposite Oak Tree Mews.' - spare logs for the fireplace. Even though there was reference to additional logs for the fireplace in the 'property information booklet (outside in a 'wood box'?), while there was kindling in the enclosed area at the bottom of the garden, there were no logs (other than what was provided in the basket in the cottage). While it is acknowledged that the onus may be on the guests purchasing their own wood stocks from a local garage for an extended stay, having at least some spare logs to help guests settle in for the first few days would be welcome.

Wonderful, clean cottage!

The place was very clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. I loved the thoughtful “extras” left by the hosts to make our stay more comfortable (snacks and Prosecco as well as brochures and maps of the surrounding area)

The tight staircase was hard for my sister with her bad knee, but she was thrilled with the place, regardless! Had trouble finding the place at first because Google maps sent us the wrong way.

Ideal cottage for a weekend in the Cotswolds.

As described on the tin! A small pretty Cotswold cottage close to the centre of the town.

Courtyard needed a bit of a tidy. The odd light bulb or two needed replacing but otherwise v good. The stairs might be a challenge for less agile people!

Magical walnut cottage

It was our first time in a cottage. This didn’t disappoint. It was beautiful. We received a welcome basket which was truly lovely. The beds were extremely comfortable. Kitchen well equipped . The garden area was full of butterflies around the beautiful flowers. Magical.

The stairs were a little difficult and the cottage could have done with a better dust around. Also a light over the mirror in the top bedroom would have come in handy as it was a little dim. Apart from that it was fantastic. Non of the above spoilt our time it will be memorable

Beautiful cottage in a great location

This is a beautiful Cottage in a really great location. We were all very comfortable. The paved garden was so pretty with all the wisteria blooming. Also, proximity to the pub just over the back was an added bonus!

It's not that we didn't like it at all, but storage was very limited. More hanging space would be a real bonus. However we managed okay for the three nights we were there.

Beautiful Quaint Cottage in Perfect Location to visit The Cotswolds

We had an a comfortable stay at Walnut Cottage. We didn't meet the host we got keys from a keypad nearby. The Cottage was clean, comfortable and super quaint. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, the 'Welcome Pack' on arrival was a lovely gesture which included a bottle of prosecco. The bedrooms were a good size for an old cottage - the bathroom and shower were good too. There is a steep spiral staircase up to the bedrooms - so wouldn't suitable for anyone with disability's. The location is perfect for the local town Morton in Marsh which has some great pubs and restaurants. We visited many Cotswold towns during our stay. I would recommend this cottage to anyone exploring the nearby beauty.

Beautiful stylish stay in Moreton

The cottage is beautiful inside and outside. The decor really makes it special. Emma was a pleasure to book with and made sure we had all that we needed including a lovely welcome basket and Prosecco as we were celebrating my dad’s 70th. The location is also fabulous - just a 3 minute walk into town and then it is also 2 minutes from a great walk to the arboretum.

Great location, lovely cottage with lots of amenities. Easy walking distance from shops/pubs/cafés, parking directly outside cottage, dog friendly, sweet little garden.

The lights in the kitchen were very dim and the living room / kitchen just needed a refresh / lick of paint but this didn't effect our stay.

Not good

The location was perfect

We had heavy rain all night, the roof was leaking right next to the bed we were sleeping in, Simon the owner knew about this and only informed us when we got there, with no alternative available we agreed to stay. We had to empty a bucket thru the night the bathroom was down a very tight, steep and winding wooden cottage stairs, He kindly offered us compensation, we had 2 nights booked he said he would refund us 1 nights stay and we were ok with that however that was on the 14th July and we're still waiting for it and he's now ignoring my messages. The outside area wasn't tidy the bins hadn't been emptied they were overflowing with the previous guests rubbish, piled high we had nowhere to put ours.
