About this house rental
Village Retreat is just one block to the village where there is shopping, restaurants, ice cream shops, Neptune Park, and a pickle ball court on Mallery Street. Stroll to theLighthouse Museum with sweeping views of the Intracoastal Waterway overlooking Jekyll Island and often times, especially in the warmer months, you can spot dolphins swimming by. For those who like to just chill out, relaxing or grilling poolside is the best place to be. Non tidal beach entrances are only 2 miles away.

THE SPACE
Welcome to our charming family home featuring 3 bedrooms, 2 full and 1 half bathroom.
The master is located on the main living area with adjoining bathroom with shower and walk in closet.
Guest bedroom upstairs has a queen bed and additional guest bedroom has two queen beds.
Upstairs guest bedrooms share a full bath off the hall with combo tub/shower.
Half bath is located at entry of the home.
The kitchen features stainless steel appliances with a range. There is a breakfast bar (seating for 4) and dining table (seating for 6).
Owner has provided a drip style coffee maker and gas grill for your use.
Family Room, Master and Queen guestroom have TV's.
Guest will also have access to the garage. There is ample parking for 4 cars. We also suggest renting a golf cart to get around the island.
Pool is approximately 12’ x 27’. There is an option (fee) to heat in the cooler months.
Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This is not a pet friendly home.
Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

We had a great stay in this beautiful house! Within walking distance to the pier, lighthouse, shops, and a ton of beautiful sites. The pool was a great addition with kids to keep them occupied during our quiet times. Would definitely recommend this property to others!

My husband and I met our children , their spouses and 2 small grand children here over the 4th of July. The pool was a wonderful break from the heat. We loved the location!

This property was in an ideal location. Walk out your door to the beach, the dining, the bar, the shops.
The house is great for a group of friends- we loved the 2 1/2 baths, the large couch and the heated pool.
The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were immaculate. The kitchen had all you need to cook. Having use of the garage was so practical.
Wish list-the property could use a few more beach towels and towels in general. We stayed 10 days and had to do a load of laundry.
Property management company was responsive and check in was just a door code sent via email.
Don’t hesitate to stay here.
