We had an absolutely wonderful stay here in Bali. The place was incredibly comfortable, beautifully designed, and felt like a true retreat from the moment we arrived. Everything was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time. What really made our stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. A special thank you to Otil, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring — her warmth made a big difference in our experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return in the future. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable place with truly lovely people.

Charming bungalow at a peaceful oasis

This beautiful property felt like home as soon as I arrived. In fact, I straight away added another night, as I loved it! With the loft bedroom, writing desk, lovely living room area and bathroom, closet and good Wi-Fi, I felt like it was a peaceful retreat oasis. The refreshing pool surrounded by sumptuous plants and delicious food, especially the tasty fruit juices prepared to order, made me look forward to each moment I stayed. There were many special, charming touches, like bathroom amenities, slippers, decor. The staff was incredibly kind, thoughtful and attentive. They helped arrange a body scrub/massage in my room. Even when a storm knocked power out, I felt safe and comfy. I was able to visit GWK and Uluwatu Kecak Dance/Temple while in the area, as well as Dreamland and Padang Padang Beaches.

Staying longer would've been the only thing to make it better. The location is not without challenges, so be aware it is not easy walking to places. Rent a scooter or have your Grab / Gojek app ready or meet a local driver or the staff can help arrange transport for you.

The tiny cottages were beautiful, cozy, and a little taste of home. The sheets were the softest I’ve ever felt in my life.

This property has construction EVERYWHERE. I mean concrete drills going into cement behind your cottage. The wifi barely works, cuts out constantly, and sometimes doesn’t work at all. I was upset to get there and realize how bad and loud the construction was, considering what I had paid and the existing reviews. Spa services were offered, and each of the 3 occasions I requested for manicure, I was advised a different reason/excuse as to why they could not come. Mosquitos are very bad here, both inside the cottages and in the area by the pool.

Breakfast was amazing every morning. Staff was very polite and friendly. Great little pool to swim in.

You have to talk to them at the front desk, messaging on WhatsApp not totally reliable. Not a huge deal though. Also our roof leaked on night when it rained really hard.

Incredible

My experience was incredible. The cabins are beautiful, everything is spotlessly clean, and you have every detail (towels, bathroom amenities, slippers, minibar). The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the staff is the best. They made us dinner two days, and I loved the Hotil’s noodles. The food is incredible. We felt like we were at home; they are super friendly and attentive. Toni is charming. I would definitely stay here again. I'm going to miss you. Thank you for everything. You have a beautiful hotel, and you are the best part. Congratulations!

A great place to stay to close off an amazing vacation

Beautiful hotel, very clean and with fab staff. The moment we had an issue they were on it. The rent motorbikes there which makes ir very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Twice we had an issue with the water. It stopped running in our room for over 30mins. Thankfully the staff were very helpful and did their best to fix it quickly.

The hosts were very attentive and offered suggestions on things to do in the area . Everyone was nice and friendly Toni especially. They even helped us book transport to our next location in Bali.

Wouldn’t stay again. Too many down points this time

Second time I’ve stayed at Winsu Lumbung, the location is good and the huts are lovely. All the staff are lovely

However this time I had a lot of problems. Blocked drain, ran out of water one day so couldn’t shower, air-con leaking and to top it off one evening the key snapped in the door, although all the problems are fixed quickly it is annoying, especially at 11pm when you want to go to bed. Upon check out I was then told that I needed to pay for the door!! This is a fairly expensive place to stay (for Bali) - the value for money was not there on this visit.

Quiet Uluwatu

This is a gorgeous little property. It’s probably a bit smaller than the photos suggest but it’s lovely. The rooms are great, I was upstairs with an outdoor bath. The decor is perfect and the linens so fresh!

The only downfall is nothing is walking distance. No cafes, restaurants etc so just got grabs!

Perfect stay

Absolutely loved this stay. We had the 2 story room and it was so cosy, clean and comfortable. The staff are so lovely and help with anything you need. We ate food here several times and it was delicious. Good location but abit easier with grab bikes or hiring a moped! Would highly recommend.

Ok but misleading pictures

Location is good. Ladies at the reception were very nice. Everything was clean and tidy.

Pictures are misleading, the swimming pool seems much bigger and it is not. The bungalow looks much bigger in photos. It is not in reality, a bit overwhelming. Also it was really hot inside, there is A/C but even tho the bungalow can be cold, the coldness does not reach the bedroom and it is actually pretty hot for sleeping

Great stay! Very attentive and kind!

It felt really cosy and comfortable. It was clean and the bed was amazing. I slept really good! The staff were also very friendly and attentive. The food was also tasty! You have to choose your breakfast from the menu for the following day and agree on a time and they will bring it to your porch and knock.

Warm, family oriented, accommodating and wonderful.

We loved the staff, especially Ancha (forgive us if the spelling is incorrect), she made us feel welcome and was very warm and kind. Breakfast was delicious and the room was the cutest we’ve ever stayed in. We could rent bikes and had great suggestions of places to visit l. We definitely recommend the Wisnu Lumbung Uluwatu.

Very comfortable stay in Uluwatu

We stayed in a 2 storey cabin, which was very comfortable, very clean and welcoming. Very good location not far from Padang Padang beach. You can rent a scooter at the property. Very nice that we could just leave our laundry in the provided basket and it was all clean the day after. Good value for money ☺️

The picture of the swimming pool makes it much bigger than reality. They were out of fruit at breakfast.

Great little gem

It was clean and the staff were amazing. They have scooters to rent which is super helpful and the mini fridge is stocked well.

The aircon leaked and the WiFi is not good unfortunately. It’s ok for light scrolling but definitely wouldn’t recommend for anyone who needs to do work.

Wonderful stay with excellent service, a great atmosphere despite some minor noise from renovations.

This is our second time choosing this hotel because of its intimate, personal atmosphere. The staff was fantastic: friendly, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The location is great, though getting around requires renting a bike or using GoJek or a taxi.

The only downside was that renovations were ongoing throughout the entire weekend, with only a few breaks, which made it difficult to fully relax at times.

Comfortable and enjoyable

The house is really nice and probaly has the best bed i’ve ever had in Bali. The staff is friendly and helped me with a lot of things. The pool is good and nice to chill. Sometimes the staff surprised me with snacks which is always appreciated. It’s 5 minutes from Bingin Beach and the location overall is just great.

Need transport nice pretty garden cute rooms.

Long way away need transport or taxis everywhere. After booking received three emails saying cancelled and I would receive a refund. I then booked another place then got told it wasn’t cancelled and I couldn’t cancel. Meals not appealing. Rooms aren’t maintained throughout stay. Mum got told breakfast comes with room but then we got charged for breakfast both days. They took one off when we queried this as we only had it one morning. Stairs in rooms a little dangerous to narrow. Wouldn’t be good for elderly.

Friendly staff and a really cozy cabin, even the TV has Netflix so if you’re tired, you can just have a chill-out evening at the room

The locker in our room is broken, the bathroom has a very slow draining sink drain, it would get flooding in the bathroom within 5 mins if you’re taking a shower

Lovely bunaglows with the most amazing staff

One of our favorite locations in the whole of Bali! The staff is soo lovely and helpful, we can't praise them enough. They were always on site to help and very super friendly. We had a bungalow where the bed is upstairs and it was the cosiest place ever. You almost feel like sleeping in a tree house it's so nice. It was also great to have a small living room and we felt right at home! The wifi works well and the everything was nice and clean. The pool is small but great for a quick dip. We were able to rent scooters from them that were in great condition and at a fair price. It's quick to get to the lively part of Uluwatu but the area is very calm and no noise. For us the best part was the amazing staff and super cute Bunaglow! We'd absolutely come back again :)
