Art Gallery Villa Kefalonia Sea View and Breakfast

We were a group of 6 friends and the villa was perfect for us. Actually very big! We were absolutely amazed by the works of art in the Villa! Where there is space on the wall, there is a painting. But as George says: the statues are the main focus here. And speaking of George, he made our stay! We booked this place because of the reviews we read about him, and we were all more than glad we did so. He is an amazing man, full of interesting stories. He made us a delicious breakfast every morning, with plenty (and homemade) of everything: omelette, marmalade, honey, toasted bread, fresh orange juice and the delicious vanilla coffee. Not only it was delicious, he accommodated our schedule no matter what we asked. On the last night, he made us barbeque: souvlaki (best we had in Greece), with grilled vegetables form his garden and his homemade wine. Honestly it was one of the best dinners we had in Greece, but what really made it unforgettable was his company. Thank you, George, for being so warm and welcoming! As for the house, you have everything you need and more. It's a work of art, a stay which you don't see often. However don't expect modern furniture, as the house is old (that's the whole point here). We had enough room, the upper floors had 3 double beds, while ground floor had 2 double beds. There are 2 bathrooms, modest but perfect for our needs. There were fresh flowers everywhere and fresh fruit. As an extra, one of our cars was electric. George let us charge with an extensible cord and without charging us anything. The parking is right in front of the house. We didn't get to enjoy the pool, as it was a bit cold. All of us highly recommend booking this place, not only because the views and house are great and one of a kind, but what made it remarkable was George! He even gave us a bag of fresh pomegranates from his garden as a farewell gift. To anyone looking for something authentic, book it. And to George, thank you for everything!

It’s difficult to sum up how wonderful this place is. It’s beautifully styled and feels luxurious. The location is stunning on a slope overlooking the bay of Argostoli - Evenings on either of the two balconies are breathtaking in the warm, clean air overlooking the bay and the village opposite. It was truly relaxing and we are determined to not only return to Kefalonia, but specifically to this wonderful hidden gem. I can’t over-emphasise how truly gorgeous this villa is.

The property was well appointed, well maintained and off the beaten track. However the real star was George, the owner. What a truly lovely man, he made us feel welcome from the start, prepared the most amazing breakfasts and food and gave us recommendations so that we avoided the tourist traps. We arrived as guests and he made us feel that we left as friends. He really made the holiday.

We have never seen a better host like grandpa George, what an amazing person he is. The Villa is a such a magnificent and art place, location is more than perfect. We'll come back for sure. Pure magic. Thank you for everything, sir ❤️
