Amarianos Villas

Beautiful villa with more than enough living space for us! Each bedroom has its own bathroom which added to the comfort and convenience of our stay. So many extra touches by our hostess: wine, bread, fresh fruit, soaps… Truly a wonderful place to stay on a wonderful island.

Everything. The property was modern, clean, comfortable and there was plenty of space for everybody. In short, it was absolutely perfect for us as a family.

Highly recommend! Beautifully decorated and so comfortable, with the sounds of cicadas, cockerels and horses in the background — really relaxing. Exceptionally clean plus you can flush the loo roll (sounds daft but my teens especially appreciated this luxury in Greece). There are three villas grouped together, but don’t let that put you off. The way they’re positioned, along with the planting, means you can’t see into the villa next door or its pool area, so it feels wonderfully private. You’ll need a car, though that would be wise wherever you stayed on the island. It’s a great base for getting around. We used the local grocery shop and ate a few times in the nearest town, Agia Efimia. We’d recommend Amalia there — lovely food in a beautiful setting. We also had a fabulous meal at Giorgos in Divarata, then drove five minutes to the viewpoint near Myrtos beach for sunset. Perfect. Maria was fabulous and gave lots of tips! I could only add 4 pics. The 4th is Agia Efimia, with lovely swim spots.

Nothing at all. I was dubious about all the glowing reviews but it really is wonderful.

Firstly Maria was an amazing host. She thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable for a multi day stay. The kitchen was well stocked, there were toys for the kids for the pool, literally everything we needed was there. The villa itself is super clean, well designed and well maintained and the location is very central for seeing the whole island. The town is a small village with a small selection of lovely taverns. You can eat out or go to the supermarket all within a short walk. We had a great time and would highly recommend the property.
