About this house rental
Welcome to our home! Single-story house with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2 living rooms, one of which leads to a large screened-in pool in the backyard.
Please NOTE - our home was severely damaged by Hurricane Helene. We spent 6 months restoring it, top to bottom, putting in all new walls, floors, appliances, furniture, and rebuilding our main bathroom from scratch (all new walk-in shower, cabinets, Japanese toilet, etc.). So you will be staying in a brand new house, in that regard. But with a lived-in, cozy charm, surrounded by art and antiques.
Around the house is a beautiful garden full of fruit, vegetables, herbs, flowers, and Moringa and Neem trees. We grow all of it ourselves, using our all-organic compost and no pesticides.
This is a very safe, quiet area, with a nearby park you can walk to, sporting tennis courts and soccer fields. And if you're craving more excitement, the bustling Downtown St. Pete, full of galleries, museums, theaters, bars, and excellent restaurants, is only a 10-min drive away.
We hope you love staying there as much as we do!

The cute little house was nestled on a quiet little street not too far from anything you’d like to do. The beds were comfortable. The showers were a nice flow. The pool was very clean. The inside was remodeled in some areas which may have had some storm damage and could use some finishing touches but overall I’d recommend staying there and relaxing.

The house is very cute with a nice pool and fenced in backyard. The kitchen was well stocked and overall the house was very clean with new appliances and fixtures. My only complaints are that the two mattresses can only be characterized as extra firm with very little give. Other than that, the house is very nice, but can be a little stuffy as some rooms don't have vents to pump in the a/c.

Communication from the manager was very poor. Our Frontier flight was delayed 3 plus hours but I called the manager & left the info on the answering machine, including my name & number each time another delay was happening. I requested a call back so I knew they received my message. I never received a single call back. I kept them updated each time. Then they were frustrated that we were late but handed me the key. Imagine my surprise when I went to unlock the door & discovered there was a code pad on the door. Even info from the owner re: address & where to get the key was only given to me 2 days before our flight and I had to ask for that twice. While the house was clean inside, the lawn hadn't been mowed for at least 2 weeks and the fruit & veggie "garden" is a raised bed completely overgrown with weeds. This was truly not even close to what we expected based on the pictures on the Vrbo website.
