Lovely room and views; Horribly intense smell of cheap air freshener.

Well furnished room with very comfortable beds in a great location with beautiful view of the lake and the mountains.

Despite room being lovely, our stay was absolutely ruined by very intense smell of cheap air fresheners throughout the whole property, to the point that it was impossible to sleep.

A wonderful surprise!

We reserved the room late at night as we hadn't been satisfied with the other hotel we were to stay at. Marienhof Apartments turned out a really excellent choice! As soon as we reserved and paid for the accommodation, we received our key code to the gate in a message, and a really beautiful room on the 3rd floor was waiting for us! We were so happy to find that this place is a little gem! In the morning we realized how wonderful the panorama from our large balcony was over the Faaker See. The beautiful garden and the whole hotel premises took our heart :) We really regretted that we could spend only a half night there. I highly recommend this accommodation! PS: Unfortunately we managed to get the worst 2 days of August with heavy rainstorms, but even then Marienhof Apartments and its surrounding were charming, as you can see in the pictures :)

No breakfast facilities. Necessary to walk to next door hotel. Breakfast excellent but at €22 per head, expensive. Sink drain leaked badly until I tightened a fitting. One bedside lamp didnt work. Window pivoted on central fixing points. No way to open it properly. Bed was too soft.

very friendly staff and the location is very good for this money. The rooms have a modern design and I really liked it. There is a bus stop not far away from the hotel and you can reach the panorama beach within 10-15 min.

The bed, especially the pillows were very uncomfortable to me. but it happens very often in this kind of hotels, so I would not withdraw any points for this, as everything were clean

Disappointing

Nice retro look although our bathroom is really from the 70s and did not correspond to the picture listed in booking.com. The „hotel“ is flexible in terms of shorten the stay and price renegotiation after complains (listed below). The bed is comfortable.

1, Cleaning: we didnot get fresh toilet paper and fresh towels during 3 out of 6 nights of our stay, in which 1 day the cleaning lady did not clean our room at all , although we put out please clean the room sign before leaving around noon. 2, hotel standard: it is not a real hotel but „Pension“ without breakfast, it’s not value for money compare to the price we paid. 3, no air conditioning: it’s too hot in the room (we stay in the summer time) and cannot sleep at all, we requested for a fan but no response, finally we brought a fan by ourselves…

Nice staff, modern furnishing

My girlfriend and I got a room on quite short notice (we booked 5 days ahead during the high season). The staff was very friendly, the rooms looked great and were very clean. Also, the view from the balcony was stunning. There are plenty free parking spots right in front of the hotel. All in all a great experience, I will gladly visit again.

Síeléshez nem ajánlom. Az előttem szólót tudom megerősíteni, a fűtést a szállásadó kezeli és nem engedi helyben, a vendég álltal állítani a hőfokot, miközben a termosztát túl közel van az elektromos fűtőpanelhez és nem ad pontos értéket. Éjszaka a fűtés kikapcsolt. A fűtés kilazult és kilógó fali aljzata kifogásolható érintésvédelmi szempontból. Egyik nap nálunk is elment a melegvíz, és a szállasadó nem intézkedett, lehet nem tudott, de nem is kívánt méltányos visszatérítést adni a probléma jelzését követően, miközben ez óriási kényelmetlenséget jelentett, családomból egyedül én vállaltam be a hidegvizes fürdést januárban, lehet nem kellett volna. A telefonszámom whatsuppján kaptam meg a belépési kódot, amit furcsának találtam, ekkor nem a hivatalos csatornán kommunikált a szállásadó. A szállásadóval egyetlen alkalommal sem találkoztam, az online kapcsolattartással nem voltam elégedett. A további apróságokért magamat és figyelmetlenségemet okolhatom, de érdemes tisztában lenni azzal, hogy a “felszerelt konyhában” nincs mikrohullámú sütő, kenyérpirító, a sütőhöz tepsi, és a serpenyő helyett is újat kellett kérnünk, ami alkalmasabb volt indukciós főzőlaphoz. Hárman szálltunk meg, ehhez három nagyvillát kaptunk, ez rendben van, de ha valaki valóban használni szeretné a konyhát, nem túl kényelmes. Ezek apróságok, de a kényelem szempontjából fontosakká válhatnak. Azt is érdemes szem előtt tartani, hogy nincs a szálláson síbakancs szárító és ha még a szobában is kikapcsol éjszaka a fűtés, reggelre bizony nem száradnak meg a bakancsok. Nekünk hajszárítóznunk kellett reggelente. Ha a fűtés folyamatosan működött volna, talán nem lett volna problémánk még ezzel sem. Hosszú ideje járok és foglalok szállást Ausztriában, de ilyen nehézségekkel még nem találkoztam, talán a korábbi jó tapasztalatok miatt is voltam túlzottan jóhiszemű, mert Ausztriában eddig mindenhol máshol meleg fogadtatásban részesültünk.

Bardzo chętnie tu wrócimy.

Bardzo uroczy hotel. Wystrój i organizacja tego miejsca bardzo nam się podobała. Smaczne, domowe śniadanie. Otoczenie i samo położenie hotelu świetne- na uboczu, zaciszne, ale dobra komunikacja do głównych dróg. Piękne widoki z klimatycznego apartamentu. Pokój nieduży, ale z dużym urokiem i nie potrzeba niczego więcej na krótki pobyt. Łazienka przestronna i świetnie wyposażona.

Pokoj byl bardzo czysty, ale lekko zakurzony. Najpewniej dlatego, ze byliśmy poza sezonem I nie było tam od dłuższego czasu gości To jednak detal I nie przeszkadzało nam to wcale. To calkowicie zrozumiałe. Z racji, że przyjechaliśmy wieczorem, musieliśmy poczekać około 20minut na wejście do obiektu i martwiliśmy się czy uda nam się zameldować, ale wszystko się udało.

Unterkunft in guter Lage mit Einschränkungen – eher Pensionszimmer als Apartment

Die Apartments scheinen in den Fotos sehr gepflegt, modern und sauber zu sein. Nun, das stimmt auch bis zu einem gewissen Grad. Die Apartments sind jedenfalls sauber; die Einrichtung ist ok, aber vor allem die Couch dient eher nur zum Ansehen. Sitzen kann man nicht wirklich darauf. Der Ausblick ist aber nett, und der Weg zum See sowie zum nächsten Supermarkt ist nahe. Wir waren zwar im Juli dort, trotzdem wurde in einem Gebäude des Nebenhauses geheizt. Zumindest drang Rauch aus dessen Kamin der sich direkt über dem Balkon ausbreitete. Man konnte Nachmittags/Abends also nicht gut auf dem Balkon sitzen oder lüften. Das mag aber sehr auf das zugeteilte Zimmer drauf ankommen.

Der größte Kritikpunkt betrifft aber die Küchenzeile, was für ein Apartment aber die Grundlage darstellt. Sie ist nämlich nicht vorhanden Viel mehr steht eine Kochplatte zur Verfügung die notdürftig verwendet werden kann. Die "Küchenmöbel" scheinen auch nicht die Qualität für eine Arbeitsplatte zu haben, Abzug findet man natürlich keinen. Der Hauptkritikpunkt ist aber, dass auch kein Waschbecken zur Verfügung steht (außer jenes im Bad). Zusammengefasst, Nudeln kann man wohl mit gutem Willen machen, mit richtigen Apartments ist es aber nicht zu vergleichen. Ich würde daher die Marienhof Apartments eher als Pensionszimmer sehen. Ich weiß nicht ob jemand das Frühstück genommen hat, es scheint aber eher hochpreisig (25 €) zu sein. Es gibt gute Hotels in der Umgebung die weniger verlangen. Für den Preis findet man jedenfalls günstigere Apartments am See (inklusive Zugang zu einem Badestrand). Wenn man aber kurzfristig eine Unterkunft benötigt dann ist dort meistens noch etwas frei. Für 1-2 Nächte kann man die Unterkunft empfehlen.

Die Kommunikation und der Check in war super und unkompliziert. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Unterkunft. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr zu empfehlen 😊

Ein Abwaschbecken wäre praktisch in der Küche.
