We loved the fact that it was nestled in the garden, which was beautiful. It was clean, thoughtfully well equipped, attractively decorated and well designed. The bed and seating were comfortable. The welcome pack of food was fresh, locally sourced and delicious. The owners were very friendly and made us feel at home. We were welcome to walk all around the garden and use any garden furniture.

Gorgeous location, very peaceful and calm. Liz is a lovely host, very welcoming and helpful. Our welcome pack was the best ever and the Lodge really comfortable and cosy.

Quiet countryside location in very peaceful garden setting. Hosts very discrete. Nice welcome basket, bread, cheese, eggs on arrival.
Wifi kept dropping out. Mentioned to hosts, but probably a supply issue out of their control.

The welcome basket offered by the host is appreciated. We have also enjoyed the DVD films in the evenings.
It could have been better if there is a sign of Upton Cressert. It was almost impossible to locate the Garden Lodge without the help of a local villager who happened to know the hostess.
