The location is perfect. The property itself is very well maintained and designed. The host is knowledgeable and helpful.

Internal stairs would be tricky for the less mobile. The walk in with bags is a bit tricky but worth it to be in the car free zone.

Stylish, comfortable and clean. Very responsive host. Great location.

Very steep steps within the property. Not for anyone with mobility issues.

The location was the highlight and the beds were comfortable.

We had 4 people staying for our entire booking. A friend was going to stay one night on the sofa and then due to flight issues she stayed two of the four nights. I asked if we could pay the extra guest fee for two nights for her vs having to pay for all four nights (since she would not be there the other two nights). I received immediate responses back stating this wasn’t run by the hour (obviously, since I offered to pay the extra money for the two nights she was there) and he gave me a deadline to have the cash waiting for him or he’d kick us out. He has a camera (on the outside) and watches you come and go. I said okay, we will get the cash for all four nights. I would have booked this as two separate reservations, one with the nights our 5th guest was with and one when it was just the 4 of us, but it is a 3 night minimum so that didn’t work since we were staying a total of 4 nights. It wasn’t great to have to pay a lot extra for two nights that she wasn’t there, especially when she made no impact on the rental being she slept on the sofa and used one towel. To add to it, I booked this place over another primarily for the hot tub. On the first night it wasn’t on and so we turned it on, waiting for it to heat up. It wasn’t heating and I messaged the owner. He told me it’s always on and to “read the instructions”. I told him it hadn’t been on and we had read the instructions. We gave up and just figured it needed more time to heat. Second night, we tried again, still cold. Third day I messaged saying we’ve tried everything and gave it time but no luck in getting it to heat. He said he’d send someone to look at it while picking up the cash. That person was there for at least 30-45 min working on it. It finally worked. I messaged him thanking him and he said - it was just a button. Obviously it wasn’t or it would have worked the first two nights and the person wouldn’t have been there for so long working on it and ensuring it was working.
