Plateia House Mykonos

Property was great location and had everything needed. Host was very lovely

Plateia House was the perfect base for our stay in Mykonos. The location is unbeatable, right in the old town with countless restaurants just a short walk away, yet only 10 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the port, making arrival and departure a breeze. The apartment itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated , every corner felt picture-perfect. The host was warm and welcoming throughout our stay and made everything effortless. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly , a fantastic combination of location, comfort, and hospitality!

Lovely brand new room and it has been very charmingly decorated, I felt like I had my own Greek house. The little balcony I had on my room was perfect! Genuinely a great place to stay right in the heart of Mykonos !

I would have loved a few firmer pillows, but that’s just my preference. It is important to note the location is really in the heart of the town so you will hear the party music till late, but closing the windows does a pretty good job at blocking it out, and this is also what you should expect if staying in the middle of town.

I have traveled to many places and stayed in different apartments, but I have never received such a message before. It is normally the host’s responsibility to arrange cleaning after each guest leaves, just like in hotels and other apartments. This is not the responsibility of the tourist. Even if we wanted to, we didn’t have enough time to arrange for a cleaner ourselves. Regarding the damage, we are astonished. We are tourists who came here to enjoy our time, not to damage your apartment. The damage was not caused by us — I am sure it was there before we arrived. We don’t even have any tools that could cause such damage. We are mature people, not children. Also, please note that there were several issues in the apartment which we didn’t even complain about: the Wi-Fi service was poor, there were ants and small cockroaches in the home, and there was not enough toilet paper provided (only one roll, and we had to buy more ourselves) While you are asking me to pay for damages that we did not cause, I believe as a host you should focus on providing better service and showing more respect to your guests. I honestly did not expect this from you. Usually, hosts thank their guests and ask them kindly for a review — not send blameful messages.
