The house had everything we needed. It was clean and walking distance from the center of Windermere.

The location was in a run down area. The view from the back bedroom was,apiece of land full of old furniture , rubbish and overgrown brambles. Across the road there were what looked like abandon cars and horse box.
The bed in the room with en-suite was really uncomfortable. It was wobbly and the mattress well used. Behind the bed there was a lot of dust and damp on the wall. The lounge although lovely, could have done with the furniture moving and a good hoover of the cobwebs and dead spider

The cottage had everything! It was very well equipped and much bigger than we thought!

5pm checkin is a bit late in winter - earlier 3pm would be better!
