The Courtyard

The instructions for accessing the house were accurate and detailed. The house was just a few minutes walk from the town centre but really peaceful and quiet. The decor was elegant and understated. The facilities were excellent. The towels and bedding were excellent quality, as were the toiletries in the bathroom and loo. Rachel had left pastries, fruit, orange juice and bread and proper butter for us, which made us feel very welcome. The tea and coffee area was incredibly well supplied. I tried teas I’ve not had before and may have to buy some of them! The photo books with information about the house and about things to do/places to eat locally were such a great idea and very useful. We liked the fact that there was an honesty box of essentials in case needed (toiletries, batteries etc) and a box of charger cables to borrow. I wish more places did this! When we had a small issue (flat battery in the remote for the gate) Rachel was quick to fix it.

Not so much didn’t like, but the ‘tunnel’ you drive through to get to the car park is narrow. I drive a MINI Countryman, and it was a bit of an adrenaline rush getting in and out of the car park.

Lovely, well appointed cottage tucked away in an attractive corner of old houses right in the centre of Chichester.

It was beautifully done, very high spec with a luxurious but homely feel!

Everything! Rachel was so kind and accommodating. The thoughtful goodies in the fridge and pastries for coffee were unexpected and delicious.
