La Aldea del Primitivo

Absolutely everything! Valentina and Carlos are the friendliest host we have ever stayed with. They have created such a wonderful environment, the whole place is beautiful and surrounded by nature. Wish we could have stayed longer - 4 nights was not enough! Termales is a great place for nature and wonderful people. Valentina picked us up from the beach when we arrived and walked us back when our trip ended which was so kind and helpful. She also helped us to organise lots of trips while we were there too. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we would LOVE to come back one day!

Nothing, it’s fantastic!

This is definitely not a place for everyone, and I think it is important to know what to expect before booking. The accommodation consists of simple cabins in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by nature and wildlife. You may encounter various animals, and depending on the conditions, getting back to the camp can involve crossing three rivers. It can be challenging, especially if you are looking for a conventional hotel experience. But honestly, this is also what makes the place so special. Staying here feels like a real experience in the Chocó jungle, far from the usual tourist destinations. The surroundings are beautiful and the atmosphere is unique. It is not about luxury or comfort in the traditional sense, but about being immersed in nature and experiencing something completely different. What really makes the difference, though, are the owners, Valentina and Carlos. They are incredibly kind and genuinely do everything they can to make their guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. They are always available, helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure everyone has a good experience. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic jungle experience and who understands that it comes with some challenges. If you are prepared for that, the wild and remote setting is actually part of the magic of the place.
