About this apartment rental
Offering views of the Aiguilles de Chamonix, the studio is ideally located a stone's throw from the Prarion gondola and the Bellevue gondola, 200m from Les Houches Ski School.
800 m from the centre of the village and at an altitude of 1000 m, the Résidence des Chalets Le Grand Balcon, composed of traditional wooden chalets, benefits from an exceptional location. Charming studio for 4 people maximum for short stays. Two adults and two children are to be preferred for long stays.
At 700 meters, you have local shops (Bellevue) and ski equipment rental shops and a ski pass sales point (Bellevue and Prarion at equal distance).
A shuttle, at the foot of the residence, runs daily throughout the Valley, making it easier for you to access the Brevent and the Aiguille du Midi (3842 m) thanks to the cable cars. Access to the Mer de Glace is possible by the small Montenvers cogwheel train.
For lovers of other sports, there is an indoor climbing gym 5 minutes away by car as well as the Chavants lake (next to the Prarion). In summer, there is an introductory climbing wall, a restaurant by the lake, facilities for children and the possibility of picnicking and barbecuing (equipment on site / charcoal to be provided).
Chamonix, 8 km from our pitch, has a golf course (in summer), a Richard Bozon sports centre (swimming pool, ice rink, basketball court).
A guest card is provided to each traveler to facilitate travel in the valley at a reduced rate by public transportation (train/bus).

The accommodations are not suitable for people with reduced mobility (stairs).

Bons échanges avec notre hôte qui est venue pour nous accueillir lors de notre arrivée. L appartement correspond tout à fait à l annonce. Bien agencé et agréable à vivre.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans ce grand studio qui possède une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Nous avons apprécié le balcon ensoleillé, le confort et le calme du logement, l'arrêt de bus au pied de la résidence, ainsi que la gentillesse et la disponibilité des propriétaires. Une super semaine :-)
