About this apartment rental

This fully furnished apartment, in a chalet, on the garden level is located 2.5 km from the center of Chamonix. After enjoying the entertainment in the city center, you can rest in peace.
To refuel you have a small shopping center 600 m away.
Buses and trains are free throughout the valley, with the guest card given to the tenant upon arrival.
Hiking in summer, or contemplative snowshoeing in winter, the Bossons glacier, the Merlet free-range animal park, climbing rocks, tree climbing, the Gaillands lakes, are nearby.
the downhill and cross-country ski trails are 2.5 km from the house.
You have all the cultural or sports activities in the center of Chamonix.
swimming pool, golf, ice rink, summer toboggan, mountain biking, rafting, etc ...

You can accommodate up to 6 people in two apartments located side by side in this same house. For example for 2 families wishing to go out together during the holidays, while being independent after dark.

Holiday vouchers are welcome. wifi is free.

Chamonix is very close to Italy (15 km) and Switzerland (20 km).
You can take advantage of this stay to visit the beautiful village of Courmayeur (in Italy) or the Aosta market (50 km) and a large number of very typical small villages. In Switzerland, you can visit the Emosson dam (20 km), Martigny with its Gianada exhibition, or the Herens cow fight in October.

The property was lovely and a short bus ride from Chamonix Centre, it was clean and cosy with a lovely kitchen which helped us keep things cheap; but what really sold this to me were the hosts, they were incredibly accommodating picking us up from the bus station after our flight as well as running us in to Chamonix and along to Argentiere with our ski's. Completely amazing and would definitely stay again.

We had a very enjoyable stay here in June. The apartment is located between Chamonix and Les Bossons, wedged between the river and the railway line with view over the mountains. We did not have a car, and found it easy to travel using train and bus. Both were approx a 10 minute walk away. The description of the apartment is accurate as are the pictures. The decor is possibly a bit old fashioned but the apartment is well equipped for anything you may need. The area was peaceful and quiet. Please note that the bathroom has a half bath as per the description and a handheld shower head. We felt that the stay could be improved by the addition of a proper shower above the bath. Thank you for making our time in Chamonix memorable.

We had great difficulty finding the VRBO because only a street name was provided not an actual address. There were many houses on the street but no one recognized the photo of the house we showed them. Fortunately, my daughter speaks French and the owner responded to our phone call and came to pick us up, for which we were very grateful. This would have been unnecessary if a house address had been provided.

Nous étions parti moi et ma femme pour un séjour d'une semaine à Chamonix en Février 2019. L'appartement en chalet est conforme aux photos et à la déscription. Nous avions choisi ce lieu car il était un peu à l'écart du centre-ville, éloigné de l'agitation nocturne des vacanciers. Monsieur et Madame Ravanel nous ont chaleureusement accueilli et Monsieur est venu de lui-même nous prendre en voiture à la gare dès notre arrivée; ce qui est fort aimable de sa part. Le lieu est idyllique. Avec vue sur la montagne et le paysage enneigée, tout simplement épique. Ajouter à cela le son de la rivière Arve qui ruisselle devant votre fenêtre; fantastique. L'appartement est confortable. Le coin cuisine et la salle à manger invite à la convivialité. Tout y est concernant les ustensiles pour préparer de bon petit plats. L'electro-menager aussi (aspirateur, four micro-ondes, gazinière, cafetière, bouilloire etc...) La salle de bain idem; très correct. Pensez tout de même à amener vos produits de toilettes (gel douche, shampoing etc..) La chambre avec lit double et lit superposé (idéal pour famille) sont correct. La pièce est bien chauffée et la décoration assez rustique vous met de suite dans l'ambiance montagnarde. La gare est à environ 5 minutes à pieds. Soit celui de Les Bossons ou Les Pélerins. Nous avions choisi Les Pèlerins comme base de transport. Et puis, on pouvais voir la maison depuis la gare ;) Le centre-ville de Chamonix Mont-Blanc et Aiguille du Midi sont a proximité. 5-7 min en train. Train d'ailleurs qui passe avec une intervalle d'une heure. Donc soyez organiser au niveau des horaires afin de ne pas louper le train. Mais même une marche à pied entre Chamonix et les pèlerins ne vous coûtera qu'un vingtaine de minutes et puis vous pourrez observer le paysage en même temps. Très agréable. Une supérette, pharmacie, boucherie, boulangerie, tabac etc s'y trouvent à moins de 10min. Madame Ravanel vous donnera tout les conseils nécessaire pour cela ainsi que toute les activitées à faire dans la région. Encore une fois, tout est a proximité. La carte d'hôte pour les transports gratuit en train et bus très pratique, très bon point. Nous remercions encore Monsieur et Madame Ravanel pour leur accueil et leur amabilité. Nous garderons un souvenir inoubliable de ce séjour dans cette belle région; tant par nos hôtes et ses habitants que par son paysage et chaînes de montagnes époustouflantes. Je note cette adresse dans mon carnet favori.
