Good location with easy pedestrian access at the bottom of the brae, across railway line and into the town centre.
A few things disappointed us about this property. The main things were: a strong musty smell that clung to clothes, hair and all our luggage. Use of airfreshner on top of the damp smell was not pleasant. There's a mix of electric heaters and central heating radiators, the owner controls the central heating. For us this meant the living room was always too cold to be comfortable when we wanted to use it. The electric heater was very noisy so we didn't use this room. The floor level varies throughout, so there's one or more steps to navigate going from room to room. Acoustics are poor between the accommodation and the main house upstairs.
