A cosy cottage with easy access to town

The cottage is in a very convenient location, within walking distance of the town centre, shops, restaurants and local walks. Being at the back of the main house, it's quiet and peaceful (apart from the odd passing train), with a garden. Lots of birds and occasionally a passing red squirrel can be seen. There's a parking space directly in front of the cottage. The heating was already on a time schedule and the cottage was cosy. We would definitely stay again.

I don't want to be too critical because overall our experience was good. However, I'd mention just one or two things which could be better. The door to the living room could do with a shaving taken off its base to make it easier to open and close over the carpet. While the kitchen is generally quite well equipped, a couple of wooden spoon for stirring and definitely a scissors would be useful. Windows and doors could do with a little TLC to make the place look more inviting.

Surprisingly wonderful stay. We walked all over. Golf course, distillery, eating and shopping. Beautiful, quaint town.

Great lay out with 2 ensuits and kitchen in middle. Quick walk to shops n pubs.

No lock on back bedroom window which worrying as children were sleeping in there. Unable to lock bathroom windows so did not feel secure

Perfect location in a comfortable old cottage that made our stay enjoyable and memorable.

In an excellent location, large cottage, self catering and plenty of room for four with two private ensuite bedrooms. Parking at the front door made luggage transfer simple. The hosts were welcoming and informative,,providing excellent advice on things to, how to get around and providing some history and stories on the local area and the cottage.

Hogmany with friends

The cottage was very clean,quiet location, homely feel and within walking distance to all amenities. Very private area with parking for 2 cars. Karen was very friendly and communication before arrival was excellent. We loved the friendliness of pitlochry and hope to be back soon.

Unfortunately due to very cold weather -6 extra blankets and curtains on porch doors especially the back twin bedroom would have helped with keeping the heat in.

The location was absolutely fantastic for our needs. The cottage and setting was just beautiful. The hosts were lovely and welcoming. Cottage had everything we needed and was lovely and warm. I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again, especially this time of year. Thank you

We had a lovely time & loved the cottage.

Annslea Cottage was very quaint. it had a great layout & good sized rooms. The cottage had everything you need & was in an excellent location, very close to the town centre but very quiet and private location.

If there was anything, the water pressure wasn’t brilliant for the shower, it was ok but I’d prefer more pressure.

Friendly hosts, comfortable cottage, able to accommodate us after a last minute change in plans.

Only comment would be there’s a lot of light which comes in through the back door in to the twin bedroom - otherwise very happy!

Everything you could need in a self catering holiday. Lovely stay with 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and fantastic kitchen with dishwasher washing machine and the rest. Really close to restaurants etc.I will be back

Everything. Our host was very welcoming. We could not asked for a better location. We were very comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed. We highly recommend the cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would go back in a heartbeat. A very relaxing break.

The location and decor of the cottage is excellent. An added bonus is that the owners are on hand if you have any questions or issues about the cottage. They will also be happy to provide information on local restauarant's and pubs

Lovely cottage, very comfortable

The cottage is very neatly fitted out (they have crammed every possible type of white goods into the compact kitchen, and still have plenty of cupboard space to put your own things away properly). The beds are super comfy and in bedrooms with plenty of space. Lovely location, a short walk from centre of town.

Only one set of cutlery (4 each of knife/fork/spoon/teaspoon)- an extra set would have made life easier. The glassware seemed too nice to put in the dishwasher, but both of these are minor niggles!

A comfortable home from home in a beautiful setting

Lovely little spot to spend some time in, just off the main street about a 5 minute wander into the town center. Modern kitchen with comfortable accommodations and very welcoming hosts. Will definitely look at staying here when visiting Pitlochry in the future

There were a couple items such as scissors which would have been handy to have in the otherwise well stocked kitchen.
