Annslea Garden cottage was a lovely well appointed 2 bedroom cottage with their own bathrooms.well equipped kitchen .and spotlessly clean throughout.
Lovely owners Karen and Gerry offered advice and invitation to be in touch if anything required.As no taxis available they kindly offered to take our luggage to train station when leaving which we appreciated greatly. We loved it and would highly recommend.

The cottage is in a very convenient location, within walking distance of the town centre, shops, restaurants and local walks. Being at the back of the main house, it's quiet and peaceful (apart from the odd passing train), with a garden. Lots of birds and occasionally a passing red squirrel can be seen. There's a parking space directly in front of the cottage. The heating was already on a time schedule and the cottage was cosy. We would definitely stay again.
I don't want to be too critical because overall our experience was good. However, I'd mention just one or two things which could be better. The door to the living room could do with a shaving taken off its base to make it easier to open and close over the carpet. While the kitchen is generally quite well equipped, a couple of wooden spoon for stirring and definitely a scissors would be useful. Windows and doors could do with a little TLC to make the place look more inviting.
