"Sail On" is a striking, well-appointed and spacious condo that offers over 1700 sq. feet of living space. Your family will love the two living areas, large kitchen; fully stocked for the chef in the family; as well as the indoor and outdoor dining options. There is plenty of room and fun for everyone; with a prime spot near the Beach Club; perfect for enjoying those all-important vacation memories. "Sail On" has cable TV and high-speed wireless internet throughout, so go ahead, post your beach fun on social media! Enjoy serene sunrises and amazing Gulf views, from the spacious, private and shaded balcony; the perfect place to sit back and relax.
*A storage locker is not provided for this unit.
This condo offers: a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen in the 2nd bedroom, and a third bedroom with two bunk beds- full over full.
Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island, located approximately 30 minutes from The Strand & other great Galveston attractions. You will have exclusive access to our beach that is clean & groomed regularly offering you a perfect spot to relax & unwind, away from the crowds.
The Pointe West Beach Club is a privately owned facility and offers resort style amenities for guests who choose to purchase access. Use of these amenities is optional.
Resort Fee: $25 per person (ages 4+), per stay. *Beach club policy only allows 3 amenity bands per bedroom. It includes use of:
• Beach Club pool and seasonally heated Bayside pool with lazy river
• Hot tubs
• Basketball & Pickleball court and a modest game/exercise room
• Seasonal family activities are offered throughout the year.
• The Pointe Restaurant opens seasonally for lunch and dinner.
The Beach Club will email an invoice directly to you. After payment, wristbands may be picked upon arrival at the Beach Club Office, open daily from 9 AM–5 PM.
Please note: The resort fee is nonrefundable, so we recommend waiting until closer to your arrival before purchasing.
Important: We manage the rental home only. We do not oversee the Beach Club, its amenities, the restaurant, pools, beach access, or elevators. Refunds and/or cancellations are not given for any closures they may experience.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Check out: 10 AM
• Guests may enjoy the beach and Beach Club amenities before check in and after check with wristband purchase.
• All condos are accessible by stairs or elevator. If elevators are out of service, stair access will be required.
No refunds or alternative accommodations are provided for elevator outages.
• Minimum age requirement: 26+
• No prom, graduation, or high school groups, even with chaperones.
CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICY:
* 31+ Days Before Arrival — You may change your dates (but the price might change), or you may cancel for a full refund minus a $100 fee and any travel‑insurance premium you bought.
* 30 Days or Less — No refunds and no date changes, no matter the reason — including weather or unexpected events.
Travel Insurance — Offered at booking. Helps protect you from losses due to unexpected events. Important because hurricane season is June–November.
Storm & Cancellation Policies — Additional details are in the rental agreement and should be reviewed carefully.

Sail On has three roomy bedrooms and three full baths! There is an extra sitting area off the kitchen that was great for stashing empty food bins and for drying swimsuits. Both the Gulf and the bay are visible from the condo, as well as a retention pond with a fountain. Best of all, it is a very short walk to the Beach Club for swimming and poolside dining. An excellent arrangement for three generations of family. Property manager/host and Point West staff were friendly and efficient. This was our fourth vacation at Point West. We would rent this condo again.

I’ve stayed at many pointe west places & I’ve been coming to Galvy since I was a young child. This condo was by far our best stay. The patio has a view of the beach & the sounds of the waterfall in the pond very relaxing, close to the pool & the layout of the condo was perfect! The couch was big & comfortable & all the beds are comfortable. Im very judgy with beds & every room passed with the beds! I’mshocked this condo was even available with me booking so close to memorial weekend! Great job to the designer as well. Anytime you get a well decorated, comfortable beds & a great patio & spacious condo it’s a win win! We will definitely book again!

This was the perfect condo for our family. Very spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Close to the clubhouse and access to the beach. Would highly recommend.

Best condo rental we have ever had for our family vacation! Extra little living area perfect for the kids, having 3 bathrooms was a big plus too! Great location near entrance to beach club and the beach! Wonderful patio perfect for many family meals and loved that it was shaded from afternoon sun! Wonderful furnishings & kitchen was stocked with everything! We loved it!
