A tribute to Scotland’s national poet, the interiors reflect his humble rustic lifestyle with warm beige and brown colors, a four-poster bed, oak flooring, and vintage dark wood furniture. The pullout sofa allows for beautiful views through large windows. Room includes Buffet Breakfast, Wifi, and Parking. This is an old lodge that has been renovated. Our original room, The Robert Burns Siute, was dark, and faced the road with a view of the dumpsters. After complaining immediately to the manager, he booked us into room 2, Mary Queen of Scott’s, a beautiful room facing the loch with breath-taking views. Heated floors in the bathroom, a comfortable king bed and excellent service rounded out our experience. The loud 1970s music blaring during our adequate dinner was unpleasant though.
