Nice, clean studio in walking distance from the port

It is was a nice, comfortable, clean and in central location apartment, everything is within walking distance (bus station, port).

I found it noisy because students live in the building and in the surrounding area so I woke up a few times during the night because of loud laughs and talks. Not sure if you can avoid that as Volos is full of students as well as the apartment is in a central location.

A very practical and budget friendly option for a short stay in Volos

We stayed one night after arriving by train to Volos and before taking a ferry to Skiathos. The location was perfect (10 min by foot from the train station and 5 min to the port). There are supermarkets 2 min walks and also restaurants nearby. The owner was extremely responsive before and during our stay. Check-in was easy and the flat was small but very clean and practical. Everything we needed for one night. There is only one double bed in the flat but the owner had set up the sofa for my son.

The only thing that bothered me a bit because I am a very light sleeper was that the location was a bit noisy. I expected this in a central location of this king though and had brought earplugs. The flat is on the first floor and that road seems to be a bit popular for traffic. We just closed the window. I am also always bothered by the noise of fridges in studios and this was no different. So if you are a light sleeper being earplugs.

Nice place for short term stay

The room is comfy enough for a short term stay, with excellent WiFi and a spacious terrace. Small kitchenette is fine for a morning coffee. Location is strategically great but boy, is it noisy in the morning - no need to set the alarm clock. We never saw the host but key handout and communication was practical and easy.

The bed is begging for a firmer mattress. A functioning side lamp would be welcomed

A nice apartment to stay in the center of Volos

A VFM modern apartment, just in the heart of Volos, close to everything worth seeing, sights, shops, bars and restaurants. The property owner is very polite and quite helpful to everything you may need.

The facilities need some slight improvements. For example some doors and windows are little faulty and sometimes are hard to open/close. Also some disinfestation is needed as we encountered many ants in the bathroom and in the kitchen.

Great studio, great location

Beautiful apartment. Very well equipped. Even had a washing machine, which I used as it was so hot I needed to rinse my tee shirts. Excellent bathroom and shower. The location was fantastic for the port - only a few minutes walk to the ferries. There is a little family run taverna only 3 minutes away on the pedestrian street.

The initial chech-in was poor. The hosts sent me the key safe code but they did not tell me which floor or door to find the apartment. I walked all over the building on every floor thinking there would be a sign, but nothing. Eventually I messaged the hosts and they told me, but by this time I was very hot and unhappy! I hope they have improved their directions for future guests because the apartment is worth it.

Perfect!!

The apartment was excellent!Everything was really clean,bathroom was brand new and the owner was very kind and helpful but most of all the location was PERFECT, like a 3 minutes walk to the port(where you take the ferry for the islands), and to the center where all the restaurants and the cafés and the shops are. Absolutely recommend it to everyone!
