Mixed Experience at Central Marine Flat My family and I recently stayed at the Central Marine Flat, which consisted of a couple and four children. While our stay had its ups and downs, I'd like to highlight both the positive and negative aspects of our experience. Firstly, the location of the hotel was a major plus. Situated close to the marina and a public parking lot, it was convenient for our exploration of the surrounding area. However, we did find it slightly challenging to locate the hotel initially. The rooms were clean, but they felt outdated, which might be a concern for some guests. In particular, we encountered a problem with the bathroom, as the shower area was not as clean as we had hoped and lacked aesthetic appeal. Additionally, we faced an issue with the water heating system in the bathtub. The electric heater took a considerable amount of time to warm the water, which was not sufficient for our family of six. This might be a point of improvement for the hotel to consider. We also had some difficulties communicating with the hotel management. The process of obtaining the key required details to be provided 24 hours in advance, which we found to be slightly inconvenient. Clearer instructions and more flexible arrangements would have been appreciated. In summary, while the Central Marine Flat boasts a fantastic location, there were some aspects of our stay that could be improved. The hotel has the potential to be an excellent choice for travelers, but better communication and facility updates are necessary to ensure a more enjoyable experience for guests.

Communication with Hotel Management Obtaining the key required details to be provided 24 hours in advance, which was slightly inconvenient. Better communication and more flexible arrangements would have been appreciated.

Brand new, tasteful, central location, amazing view.

Spacious, everything brand new and working, security door and lock, perfectly clean, comfortable bed, amazing views of the port / bay, near amenities, and 50 metres away from the seafront cafes and eateries. Incredibly quiet for such central location. 15 minute walk from bus station, 2 minute walk from the ferry, 2 minute walk from the nearest supermarket.

Clean, modern apartment and great location for the ferry port

The location was perfect for the ferry terminal. The apartment was clean and modern and there was enough space for our family of five. Communication about checking in was very good too.

The only thing I would change is that the cleaning equipment (mop and bucket, etc.) be kept in a cupboard rather than in the bathroom.

Overall a good stay. Very convenient and wonderful views.

Beautiful unit with gorgeous views of the port. Very close to a row of restaurants and cafes. Parking was available at the port for a few euros.

We didn’t have warm water during our stay. The hall/stair lights were also off so getting to the unit was pretty dark.

The location of this apartmant was superb, just in front of the port in Volos. The flat is exactly the same as on the photos displayed, very comfortable, cosy and clean. It is also very well equipped.
