Excellent location for our ourposes

Location was excellent for our purpose. Near to port, close to business district and easy walk to bus station. Very clean and neat. Well equipped kitchenette with the exception of the coffee make which leaked profusely. View of port.

The one bed was very low and for us older generation this was problematic. Also, the matrass was very uncomfortable and needs replacing. The other bed was fine. Wi-Fi failed two evenings in a row. It was, however, promptly fixed after the problem was reported.

The apartment was immaculate on both of our one night stays. As we were travelling to Scopelos and Skiathos for 2 weeks the location next to the port was perfect and we were permitted to leave our main baggage .....2 monrh trip from Australia ...at the apartment at no cost.

The place where you are deceived

Worst experience, everything that is written in the description is absolutely not true. Access to the room remotely could not be provided. They don't speak English at all. The room is dirty. Wifi is absolutely not working. The view from the window is actually in the wall of the neighboring building, but at a high angle you can see what they promise. Probably, the photo was taken leaning out of the window. That is, you can not expect anything good from this place.

amazing room, but....

the room was really beautiful and the location i must say was the best thing. a lot of amenities were in the room and the access to get the keys was very easy. the great view is also something i have to mention.

the host did not reply twice in my request for a late check out and the cleaning lady was there at exactly 11:15. i totally understand if there is no possibility for a late check out as i work in the hotel industry also, but is very unprofessional not to reply to the guests request. one more thing to mention is the uncomfortable pillows which made it difficult for us to sleep.

Beautiful clean well ordered everything you could want. Volos tavernas and front just round the corner and vibrant and chic. Volos shops brightly lit and traffic buzzing.

Floor 4 is accurate if you can fit into the lift but walking by stairs you need to go up another level.

Comfortable urban apartment experience.

I liked that the check in was easy and quick. The nearby port parking is not too expensive and very close. Also the location is great if you want to be near the city center and the ouzeri restaurants. The apartment itself was clean, and recently renovated. Security door was a plus.

The room was very nice once we got inside, but the apartment building in overall made me hesitant to go inside at first. The fact that the downstairs door remains open for most of the day, and the fact that the building entrance is not well-lit at night, gave off an unsafe vibe. The elevator is small and old and could not fit two adults with one suitcase. I was also concerned by the bad smell of the entrance. The rest of the building has offices, and we were unlucky in the respect that in the morning the office next door was making maintenance chores and therefore making a lot of noise, waking us up bright and early at 8 AM. Still, the room has a reinforced security door so we felt safe after getting inside and locking the door. The entrance may not be something that the host can influence, but it is a matter of concern for guests.

Best of Volos within reach

I chose this place because it was modern and easily accessible from the stations. The seafront location was a nice bonus. You can take a walk along the quay, all the way to the beach. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was light. I liked the fact that there was complimentary water as well as tea/coffee, and an elevator. The instructions sent by the staff were very clear and their response time was instant.

I had no issues but some guests may find traffic noise scooters bothersome (they are very loud) but it is a very central apartment.

A very comfortable studio, in an excellent location.

The property is perfect for a couple of nights in Volos, particularly good if getting the ferry to one of the islands, as it is a 2 min walk to the port entrance. The property was very clean and comfortable and I would highly recommend it for a couple. It is very close to restaurants, bars and the centre of Volos, as well as the Promenade, which is immediately in front of the apartment. Parking can be an issue as on-street parking is very busy but we parked in a multi-storey car park, around a 5-min walk from the apartment, which cost €35 for 5 days.

The shower only had a partial glass screen with an enclosed tray around 3"/75mm high, meaning that water tended to spray into the bathroom and onto the floor, which is a pain; there was a mop and bucket in the bathroom, but who wants to start doing that when on holiday!
