About this house rental
This is living on the beach at its best. Perched right on the beach, the view of the water from the front decks is unsurpassed. Fully stocked kitchen w/ top of the line appliances & induction cooktop. Travertine and quartzite floors throughout. Quality mattresses and furniture. Sink vanities & toilet rooms in bedrooms.
Great shelling, large numbers of pelicans and other birds always present, best fishing area in region, close to Galveston but far enough away from population center to feel like a retreat. Practically a private beach in the off season. Water is clearer and bluer than that in the City of Galveston due to offshore blue Gulf waters coming into San Luis Pass with the tides. Although sand beaches come and go in front of the house, there is always sand beach along the pass toward the bridge and, in the other direction, there is extensive beach that extends all the way to Surfside. Beaches in front will accrete in the summer and slowly erode in winter. Horseback riding available 15 min. away.

*We have two security cameras mounted underneath the beach house. One facing the street and one facing the ocean. They are used solely for identifying suspicious activity outside of guest reservations. Only the areas underneath the house are viewable from the cameras.

We enjoy this property very much!!! This is where we stay in our annual family fall break. They got new furniture and rocking chairs for the deck. It’s always nice to be able to sit on the porch and watch how sunrise while listening to the waves.

I have rented this particular house multiple times and still love it! Check in was smooth. The house has a few updates on the inside in regards to furniture and kitchen appliances, which I love. The house usually has a couple of staples in case you forget something. My family and I will be back again for our couple retreat. The manager Sonia is very responsive if you have any questions. I'll be back.

The house was absolutely amazing, clean spacious and came with everything you would need for a vacation. The house was the perfect size the fit our group of 12 with 6 kids and 6 adults the best part of our trip was the breathtaking view and being able the watch and hear the waves crashing while relaxing on the deck, thank you for a wonderful and beautiful stay!
