Vittorio Emanuele Charming Suites

We had such a lovely stay at Vittorio Emanuele Charming Suites! The décor was beautiful, the location was absolutely perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean and comfortable. What stood out the most, though, was the wonderful service from Peiro. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home and was incredibly kind, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made our experience even more special. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We booked to stay at Vittorio Emanuele Charming Suites in August 2026. Both ourselves and another couple had arrived early, so a special mention has to go out to Piero who came out, helped us to park our car in front of the property and lifted our bags up to the reception desk outside of normal opening hours. There is a small lift in the property but Piero helped us with our luggage throughout our stay. Free parking is not always available in front of the hotel but there are free car parks nearby. We were told that, when possible, guests were upgraded at no extra charge so, instead of a double room, we received a suite which had a whirlpool bath and sauna and a balcony overlooking the square. We felt very lucky as it was one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in! The room had very effective a/c., a TV with English channels, a safe and fridge, a lovely bathroom with a large shower and complimentary toiletries. Throughout our stay the reception staff were happy to help with restaurant suggestions etc. The property is conveniently located overlooking the town’s city square and the old town and harbour, close to all the attractions in Monopoli and lots of restaurants. Breakfast is taken in the cafe next door but one, where you can choose a Continental Breakfast with freshly squeezed juice and coffee or bacon and scrambled eggs with coffee and juice; both were delicious. There is also a little self-service store next door for snacks etc. We are very happy to recommend this as great place to stay with helpful staff and fantastic position.

The first room was very comfortable with an outside sitting area. Second room small and poor wifi

The thermostat on the shower was not working correctly. It was either too hot or too cold. They tried to tell us how we had to turn it slowly etc etc and other B S. They knew there was a problem before we arrived but did not fix it. Eventually after a big argument they moved us to another room and when it rained ( only for an hour thankfully) You could hear the water bouncing off the neighbours tin roof. As they said in the morning it was not there fault ! Nice people but would not stay there again
