Our popular 5 bedroom Cape Cod is perfect in spring, summer & fall, walkable to so much of what Shelter Island offers. Guests love our chef's kitchen, high-end appliances, quartz countertops, 2 full bathrooms; central air & heat with super-fast wifi, massive 82” flat-screen TV and spacious living room + TVs in large bedrooms. Nestled in woods: fire pit, huge deck with grill, patio seating, & umbrella. Garage with driveway for multiple cars. Beach passes extra but gear & bikes included!
The house, situated on a one-acre property adjacent to preserved woods, is in the center of Shelter Island. It's in a great location, within easy walking distance to the local brewery, a used bookstore, the town’s grocery store, numerous restaurants, a liquor store, and many hiking trails, farm stands, fish markets, cheese shop, bank, and ATM, as well as the local library and post office.

We had a delightful time staying in this house. it had everything we needed for preparing meals, playing games, relaxing, going to the beach, and riding bikes around the island. There were plenty of towels for the beach, as well as an umbrella and chairs. The patio had a barbecue that worked well. The house was immaculate and beautifully appointed. The owners were extremely generous in letting us use all their possessions . There were great books on the shelves and the art work was extremely tasteful. Kim, who manages the property was great. She was extremely helpful without being intrusive and very responsive when we had a minor issue with a bathtub drain. We had a wonderful time, enjoying this beautiful island. The location is easily accessible to all the beaches and restaurants, super market and Shelter Island Heights. We loved watching the wild life-turkeys, birds, butterflies and the roosters, pigs and sheep across the street. I can't recommend it highly enough. The only caveat I would have is if you like super firm mattresses, you might want to bring something as the mattresses, while very comfortable are foam.

This was such a great spot for our wedding party. We really enjoyed our stay and the house was even better than expected.
