Stylish home - comfortable holidays near the beach.

From the very first messages before our arrival, the hosts made us feel less like guests and more like family returning home. They guided us warmly by phone and messages, welcomed us personally, and showed us around the apartment. Throughout our stay, they were always kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring without ever being intrusive. One gesture that truly touched us was when, at my father’s request, they found a yoga mat for his daily exercises. We also had the pleasure of meeting the host’s mother, who brought us homemade raki and shared a lovely conversation with us, adding even more warmth to our stay. They organized our airport transfer and personally came to say goodbye before we left, a beautiful example of true Cretan filoxenia. The apartment is perfectly located near the village center, surrounded by charming narrow streets filled with small shops, tavernas, cafés, bakeries, and supermarkets, all just a short walk away. From the balcony, we could watch the lively little street below, while the beach itself was only three minutes away on foot. One of my favorite daily rituals was visiting the nearby bakery each morning for fresh sourdough bread, spanakopita, and koulouria. Entering the property through the small garden was equally magical: jasmine flowers filled the air with their incredible fragrance, and a large family table beside the entrance became our favorite spot for peaceful breakfasts together. The garden also had a lemon tree, and tasting fresh lemons straight from its branches felt like a small luxury of Mediterranean life. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable, parking nearby was easy at the beginning of the season, and overall we could not have been happier with our choice on Booking.com.

There were only two small inconveniences during our stay. In the hallway between one of the bedrooms and the bathrooms, there is a step that can be difficult to notice at night. My elderly father unfortunately fell twice while going to the bathroom, though thankfully he was not injured. We eventually bought a small night light to make moving around safer in the dark. Also, while both bedrooms open onto the lovely balcony overlooking the narrow village streets, one of the rooms did not have blackout curtains, so the morning light came in quite early.

Comfortable and cozy apartment. We loved Panormos. It is a cute small village but you find several restaurants, taverns, supermarkets and the beach all within walking distance from Dimitris‘ apartment. Dimitris is a great host. He is fast to respond and always ready to help and give recommendations. Thank you Dimitris!

We had a wonderful stay in the stylish home! Outstanding apartment in the center of the village with easy access to everything. It was sparkling clean and very roomy for our family of 5. The beds were very comfortable and Dmitiris was a very hospitable host. He met us upon arrival and showed us the apartment, answered questions, and made us feel right at home. We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future!
