Asterion Apartments

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is located on a hill, so it’s worth keeping in mind that you’ll need to walk downhill when going out and then back uphill again. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean. Some parts of the hotel are quite outdated, but in a way this was also part of its charm. The room had an old-fashioned telephone and even an old built-in radio/music system, which probably used to play music in the room many years ago. It didn’t work anymore, but it was interesting to see. The hairdryer was also very old — it worked, but barely dried anything. The air conditioning didn’t work very well either, although luckily we didn’t really need it. We didn’t try the food, so we can’t comment on that.

Ci è piaciuto davvero tutto! La posizione è perfetta: Panormos è un piccolo borgo incantevole, tranquillo ma comodo per esplorare Creta, con splendide spiagge, ottimi ristoranti e tutti i servizi a pochi passi. Gli Asterion Apartments sono in una posizione ideale per godersi il mare e visitare l'isola. I proprietari sono persone eccezionali: gentilissimi, sempre disponibili e accoglienti, ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa fin dal primo momento.

Assolutamente nulla. È stato tutto perfetto, non c'è davvero niente che avremmo voluto diverso.

The stay was great, picking up the keys was easy. The facilities are a bit dated, but that didn't affect comfort. Our apartment only had air conditioning in the living room, but leaving the bedroom door open cooled that room down as well. The kids loved the pool. Good location. I recommend it.
